Games to Watch
Nottingham Hoods @ Brantford Mustangs
Neither of these teams have been ‘glaring’ on offense, though Brantford is ranked #3 in the Passing Offense, nor is either team glaring defensively, but the Hoods are ranked #8 against the Run & #7 overall defensively. So when it comes down to a sole basis of stats who knows how this game will turn out. What I do know is this. The Hoods are coming off a close but tough loss against WSR while Brantford secured a strong win over Gold Coast. Momentum may be the key here. The team that can get off to a quick start and keep that momentum, is going to be the victor here. Every second counts.

Samoa Gangsters @ Rip City Reign
Statistically, neither of these teams have much to discuss. They’re both very underrated or underachieving in that department. But they have solid talent upon their roster and have proven in the past to be very capable of winning. For this game, it’s all about who executes the best, not just on one side of the ball, but both sides. This game could be the savior to one teams season and the poison pill for the others. They’re both ‘middle of the road’ teams, that are hanging tightly onto rebound for the playoff hopes.

German Wilddogs @ Williamsport Soul Reavers
GW is coming off a huge blowout win over Canberra. They have the #4 Defense in the league, the #2 Passing D, however, they also have the #25 Ranked Offense. WSR is coming off a close win over the Hoods, they’re ranked #9 defensively & 20th Offensively. Both of these teams seem to have ‘statistical weaknesses’, at the same time however, they both have very respectable talent upon their roster and the capability of playing big. The 3 losses that GW has, have come against each of the potential contenders that they have faced up to this point on their schedule. WSR has 2 losses, one to an underrated & underachieving Knox team, the other to the current #2 Ranked Alpha team, BDR. Clearly there is a need for the ‘changing of stars’ for both teams here. GW has to prove they can achieve a win over a competitor while WSR needs to prove they can avoid stumbling over them likewise. This game is going to be about Defense as well. Who’s defense will create more problems for the opposing offense? The answer determines the winner.

Oceania Pro Game of the Week
Berlin Devine Right @ Cascade Cajun Crushers
7-0. That is what both of these teams in this game have in common. They are 7-0. This is for 1st place in the Alpha conference. CCC is top 10 everywhere statistically, while BDR has a top 10 D, but is really underachieving statistically on offense. However, none of that really matters does it? They’re undefeated. This game is going to come down to the last possession. Who has it? What do they do with it? This’ll be a war till the very end, of that, I have no doubt. Best of Luck gentlemen, this one, should be a great game! It could very well be the best game of this season, so don’t you dare miss this!
