Two games with huge playoff implications this week.. four of the top six teams (probably) in direct competition. A Vipers win would give them the inside track to the #1 seed (though remaining games against the Beatdown and Fightin' Farmers should provide a challenge), whereas a Steelers win opens up the race for everyone else. In the meanwhile, the Cougars need a bounce-back win against the Beatdown after losing two of their last three, or they'll likely be relegated to battling for the 4th seed at best.. but the Beatdown certainly aren't going to roll over, as they play arguably the toughest four-game stretch possible (Knights, @Cougars, Vipers, Steelers) which should define their status as contender or pretender.

Vipers pull out a close game against a very good Steelers squad, 31-24.
