Well it's the Middle of the Season and already we have seen a few Upsets, Blow-Outs and some Stand-Out Players in the Conference. It's the time when the Front-Runners look to separate themselves from the rest of the Teams and when there is some Knock-Down Drag Outs in the Middle of the Pack. There hasn't been a big change since the Last Seed Rankings and I'll be sure to show the the previous Rankings to show my Accuracy or lack of.
The Home Boys ~ The #1-4 Seeds that are looking to host a Play-Off Game in the 1st Rd.
# Seed / Team
1) Hamilton Hellcat's
2) Storm Lake Tornado's
3) G-Long Outlaws
4) Orlando Lighting Bolts
The Road Warriors ~ The #5-8 Seeds looking to go on the Road in the 1st Rd.
5) Hawaii Islanders
6) Razorback Nation
7) Ottawa Ryno's
8) Chattahoochee Chumbags
In the Hunt ~ Teams on the Bubble trying to make the Play-Offs
9) Dresden Destroyers
10) Hella Homebrews
11) Coral City Silver Sharks
I was wrong about a few of those, lol. Here's where we stand now after 7 Weeks.
1) Hamilton Hellcat's ~ Well there have done exactly what I suspected. Controlled there Opponents and Won the Games they should've and they have stayed in Games with there massive Front 7. Boasting a #2 Rush Defense and a 10th Overall. They are also #1 in the Conference in Sacks and show that they can get to the QB. Offensively they have moved the Ball constantly and are #2 in Passing and 4th Overall. They have a tough Match-up coming up having to go to the Razor Nation and face them in War Memorial Stadium. I see the Razor Nation trying to hang around in this one but with there Defense not up to Par and one of the Best Offenses in Zeta on Hamilton's Side I see the Hellcats Winning this one by 28 at least.
2) Orlando ~ After the impressive Victory against Storm Lake the 'Bolts are riding a high of Emotions right now. With 3 easy more Games on the Schedule they look to continue there Winning ways and Build Confidence and Chemistry the next few Weeks before there Biggest Test of the Season, When they Face the Cats from Hell, In Hellcat Stadium. The 'Bolts are #2 Overall Defensively and #3 against the Run, So they show they have a much improved Rush and Overall Defense from a Season ago. They also have a much more Balanced Offensive Attack and are #7 Overall on Offense. I'll keep Orlando here at #2 for now, However the 'Bolts have the toughest Schedule in Zeta at the end of the Season and that's when we'll know if they are for real or not.
3) Storm Lake ~ Coming off the Heart-Breaking Loss @ Orlando the Tornadoes are looking to go on a 5 Game Winning Streak and a Record of 11-1 when the go to Hell Cat Stadium. They have one of the better Secondary Units in the Conference and one of the Hardest Hitting SS's in Zach Wilson. They have the good Passing Game with there 2 QB's and they have a Work House Back in Plow. Look for Storm Lake to shake thing up at the end of the Season.
4) G-Long Outlaws ~ G-Long looks to have it back together again after the melt down at Home against Hamilton and the Nail-Biter @ Hawaii where they escaped with a 1 Point Victory. Now they look to have it back on track and waiting on there Match-up with the Razor Nation. After the Win against the Hawks the Outlaws look to show they are for real with a stout Performance against the Razor Backs. They are showing that they can be a Balanced Team and stick together to put Teams out of Games as they are Overall Offensively 5th and Defensively 6th. There Team Chemistry is almost back to 100 in everything before they have the look to take out the Razor Nation and seal the deal with Wins over Orlando and Storm Lake.
The Road Warriors ~ The #5-8 Seeds looking to go on the Road in the 1st Rd.
5) Hawaii Islanders ~ After the great Performance the had against the #1 Hellcats, The Islanders Dropped a Heart Breaking Loss @ Home in a 1 Point Loss to a very Good G-Long Outlaw Team. Hawaii has done what I thought they would and are very much in the Play-Off Scenario as the #5 Seed.
6) Razor back Nation ~ The 'Backs look really good right now at 6-1 but they have a very tough next 3 Games. I expect them to Drop all those and be where they should be @ #6. Maybe they will handle there rest of there Season but unless they can Upset Orlando in the Season Finale, They will be on the Outside looking in.
7) Dresden Destroyers ~ They have done like the Home Brewers at this point and Won the Games they should have to stay in the Hunt and keep there Play-Off hopes alive. They'll be 6-3 before a tough 3 Gane skid that will determine there Play-Off Lives.
8) Hella Homebrewers ~ They are also in the same boat the Destroyers are in. They have had a good 1st Half of the Season but still have a tough road ahead. They have 4 Games that they really need to Win and I don't see them Winning any of those. They are like the Destroyers and are in the Road Warrior Picture for now but I see that changing and them going back to the (In the Hunt ) Picture at the end of the Season like I had them @ the beginning of the Season.
In the Hunt ~ Teams on the Bubble trying to make the Play-Offs
9)Chattahoochee Chumbags ~ These guys seem to have some Play Makers and they seem to suffer from a lack of Front Office Talent. They have some guys but I'm still not sure if it's a Coaching or Build Issue with these guys. Either way they will Rebound nicely and sneak into the Road Warrior Column.
10) Ottawa's Ryno's ~ These guys are in the slumps right now. They are 2-5 and looking for any kind of Motivation they can get. They have Dropped some Games they shouldn't have and they still have a tough Schedule. I see them finishing 7-9 and not making the Play-Offs
