WOW. I own 4 teams and sometimes it is hard to keep up with all my teams. I remember that Birmingham didn't make the playoffs last season but I didn't realize that we were a 3-8 team last season and turned it around to 12-4. That has to be one of the best if not the best turn arounds. I know Eurotrash also turned around their season what was the turnaround on them? I can attribute that turnaround solely to having a great staff in Demarcus Sackmaster as Head Coach/GM - Defensive Coordinator, LouDawg as Offensive Coordinator and moh7 Special Teams Coordinator.

Good Luck to the rest of the teams in the playoffs as this is truly the toughest division and the most active in my humble opinion.

I was actually going to ask you that question. Seeing as how you are familiar with quite a few other leauge, it's interesting that you feel that this league is the most active.

I think that Western Europe AA#1 will turn out great champions for the AAA#2 for quite some time to come. I see a lot of top teams in this league that will eventually get their shot at the title, even if we lost 2 teams there is still some really great teams left in AA. I also could see an AA#1 team in the championship game of the AAA#2, year after year, as we keep moving champions up.

-I'd be curious what other people that have, players, teams or GM in another league have to say when comparing our league to the others.

Well I would also say that South America Pro is a pretty active league as I was disappointed in my Brazilian Cardinals as they made the playoffs last year and you have a couple of teams that are strong there but nothing like this league here. Yes I could see several teams in this league being very competitive when they move up and it wouldn't surprise me to even see the teams that move up to AAA move up to PRO the following season.

That's what could very possibly happen to Antwerp and Bielefeld this year. They were the two champs in AA #1 last year, and have been kicking a$$ all year in AAA #2...

That is very interesting because I just noticed some other champs in AA that are in AAA #1 are ranked #1 and #2 in their league for the playoffs. It would be interesting to know how many teams that moved up are in a position to move up again.

It doesn't matter if The Features or The Lima Beans face the Trolls in the finals. They will probably win either way. I can't wait to follow their progress when they move up. Possibly even going all the way

Congrats on the turn around, but our GM/Owner Steelers Insider took our team from winless to a #3 seed in the playoffs (with a good chance of going to the final gm). While I don't want to take anything away from you; since your turnaround was quite remarkable, John has done an amazing job off taking us from winless to a contender.

Good luck to you in the playoffs and to the rest of the teams!

I talk to one of the GM's for Antwerp, he said earlier in the year that the good teams from AA would be very competitive in AAA, I assume that is stil the case, and they had a great year.

Well, our team actually is the only one to hand the Bielfield Bulldogs a loss. We did it last year in the regular season...Granted they bitch slapped us in the divisional championships last season. But hey, it's nice to say that their only loss is to us.

I've watched Antwerp because I got into a nasty PM trash-talking match with Brutus Buckeye (no hard feelings on my part tho...he's not a bad dude) before the season ever started and we (Dublin) beat them last season before tanking down the stretch. It's really cool to see what they've done in AAA.

Many gratz to Birmingham. You guys have really turned it around. Same with the Adriana Lima Beans. They were ugly last year and now they're near the top of the conference.

Dublin, on the other hand, has gone the opposite direction, but we'll turn it around next season (hopefully). I've had players in other leagues over the past two seasons and Western Europe #1 is definitely an above-average league.

I actually have one of my first players on a Western Europe AAA team, Carthage, we're the 8th seed and we play Bielefeld in the first round. We probably came the closest to beating them in the regular season too, but in true AA Bonn style we blew the late game heroics. We were tied and under 2 minutes and all we had to do was run the clock out and/or score a TD/FG and we would have won but this play happened, which forced overtime and we lost to the Bulldogs: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?pbp_id=3345632

As far as that league where Bielefeld went, I'd say there are no A1 top notch teams and a team like Bielelfeld could come in and do what they did. As teams move up year to year in our league it may turn into the same kind of thing where we just form a line with the best teams and one by one we just move up.

Most every league started on even ground so moving up just replaced that league's teams with the lower team's top teams who were probably just as good. I imagine the league discrepancy will migrate to the admins goals eventually, but I like where WEAA1 is to be honest and will be sad, honestly, to see one more competitive team leave.

Ouch. If those are the teams moving to AA#1... Unless those teams have some sort of secret weapon for Season 3, then yikes.
