57 Sacks! impressive no matter the competition.

As long as we're quoting bloated stats compiled against cupcakes then there's probably none more impressive than DE Frank Pritchard with 58 sacks 41 in one game against a cupcake

But then what do you expect from a guy who likes to say GG to people all the time LOL

Even in a cupcake game that kinda tells you this game has flaws with proportion LOL

Frank Pritchard is a beast beyond anything. He's been rocking this game forever. He is without a doubt the best DE ive seen, due to him having superb stats every season and not just being lucky one.

They have both hit 70 now. Turning out to be a nice little competition, it's too bad they are in different conferences.

And the most impressive sacks are those against non-gutted teams. Boot had 8 today against a 60 overall team...

Time to look at the big uglies

Big Boo #1 pancakes
http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=434930
Madman Matty #2 pancakes
http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=189472
Devil Bat #4 pancakes
http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=141333

I'd say our boys have quite an appetite for pancakes. If you want to look at consistancy look at those three year in and year out over the past few years they've been starters...

It's kinda hard to pad the stats against cupcakes when you're on the offense cuz you only get about 20-25 plays per game in contrast to the defense who get 100+ plays a game against cupcakes.

example (let's compare our games as each team blew out Pullman 255-0)

DE Pritchard
41 sacks vs Pullman on 107 plays... impact on game 38% of his plays were sacks (season total 74 sacks = 55% of seasons total)

Center Madman Matty
24 pancakes vs Pullman on 28 plays... impact on game 86% of plays were pancakes (season total 186 pancakes = 15% of season total)
Big Boo
16 pancakes vs Pullman on 28 plays... impact on game 57% of plays were pancakes (season total 219 pancakes = 7% of season total)

As you can see Pritchard's game that padded his stats with 55% of his overall season total really only had an impact on the game 38% of the time he was on the field.

In contrast, Big Boo, for example didn't pad his stats with 7% of his total pancakes but impacted the game 57% of the time he was on the field.

Both guys lead the league in their respective positions but who's stats have a better impact on their team...

That's a 41/56 ratio in impact plays for those two guys combined in contrast to Pritchard's 40/107 ratio.

If we're gonna throw stats around let's deal with ratios instead of straight numbers as stats can be misconstrued.

i think that if you were going to try to come up with a significance for offensive linemen, it should be sacks allowed or blocks lost that resulted in TFL. All the pancake shows is that the defender was pushed to the ground. If a defender is blocked and held away from making a play its of the same effect.

good point... true I'm just having fun since stats really don't mean much when teams come into the league and then totally pooch it and go for a cash grab season

If you guys can't tell I get pissed off playing against rebuild teams... if you wanna rebuild fuck off back to the minors and stop wasting our time you selfish pricks. The only reason you're here is to max out funds at our expense
