07/01/2009 Guam Tigers @ Pagan Fire Eaters

Pagan Island is a mere speck of land compared to Guam but when it comes to dotball, the Fire Eaters are more than ready for the chalenge.

This will be game 2 of the Mariana Cup.... the Guam Tigers have held the cup for two seasons as Scrims are not valid in this contest.

The Guam Tigers defeated the Pagan Fire Eaters handily in week 16 of Season 8... since then however both teams fortunes have changed. Guam has been struggling in O=Pro while the Fire Eaters backed into the Pros after beating up on teams during the regular season.

I know this game is still two 'weeks' away but the Pagan Fire Eaters are eager to bring the cup to Pagan Island as it would be the only trophy they have in the case...

I think we have a good chance.... bring on the smack talk!!!...

You know what I really hate about Guam?!?!?.... That island is a whore for dotball... They have 11 dotball teams on that island... 11...

Ask any resident of Guam what their favorite team is and you'll get half a dozen different answers....

The Guam Tigers captured the hearts of Guam 2 seasons ago but fumbled it away last season.... now the time is ripe for Pagan Island to steal the thunder from all the wanna be dotball teams in Guam....

Pagan Island News reports Reggie Sanders is being sued by unnamed Owners of Oceania Pro teams for trying to change to name of Oceania Pro League to Guam Pro League....

This lawsuit began in the middle of last season and some speculate that this has caused the the Guam Tigers lots of turmoil maybe even effecting their play on the field.....

N.M.I. Pagan Fire eaters Owner CinTex was asked his opinion and he said... "I think they just suck.... any team that has ever beat us sucks!!! ...and they beat us us when it count capturing the first Mariana Cup.... I want that Cup!!!! I hear it can really get you laid!..."

The Pagan Fire Eaters could hand the Tigers their 6th loss in a row....

Pagan Island News is reporting that the Guam Tigers have already broken up and they are just waiting for the Grim Reaper to push them into the gut heap....

Their failure to engage in smack talk is the number one reason for the above speculation.... stay tuned for details....
