We played around with our settings today. For the first time this year our QB set to favor the deep ball, just to see what it would do. Well it produced 91 points.
It also allowed our QB, Joe Roto, to become the best QB in our league (Sorry Cescc Fabregas, but you're in a pass happy offense that runs as frequently and effectively as our #2 RB).
That said, I feel bad for Shox. At the beginning of the season I thought (as he probably did too) that he'd be competing for a high playoff spot with his formula of CPUs. Since we are all fairly new to the game I didn't know that CPUs don't gain XP and don't level up. When he came with all level 9's and 10's at the beginning of the season I thought to myself, "This is going to be a tough game to end the season". When I saw the CPUs not gaining levels, I knew that would doom him for this year. I hope that next year he can sign some FAs and get that team righted. I didn't want this to become a blowout, which is why we have it set that our backups will come in when we are up 28 in the 4th. The damage was done before that, and now our O-line is spent. Big Nelly is eating up those pancakes he got, and then he's going to go sleep until the playoffs start.
