These are the past champs. Im part of Zeta, but Alpha owns the title race 5-4. Even if you take out the Nites and WSI....they still own it 2-1

If that is how you measure it, then good point. I personally think that Zeta winning 38 of 48 preseason games says a lot. Now it is for real and Alpha has an opportunity to turn it around! I would be shocked if Alpha pulled out even a tie in week one, but I can see them winning 6 games, which would be a strong showing.
No disrespect to any Alpha teams intended. We could trade my team into Alpha and it would not make any difference in the bottom line.

I just took an informal poll of the Alpha teams and we are in agreement... winning in week 20 is much more important than winning in week 1....

Yes, that is how I would measure it.
I could care less who wins or loses preseason tactical exploration games . The first week will tell how we all stack up, but that is not a complete measurement either. Matchups play a big part in who could win or lose. I do think Zeta is the meatgrinder and top to bottom is the tougher conference. In reality though, who cares. Its the LAST game that counts....and right now Alpha won the END GAME 5-4.....shrugs.

Is Conference USA a better basketball conference than the SEC? Memphis has been getting to the final four and nobody in the SEC is getting there, since Florida of course.
I just like to argue. haha None of this really matters I know.

Probably the SEC now. Tenn. & Vandy are always petty solid. Without Calipari bypassing the rules, Memphis will probably dip a bit. And he will bring Kentucky back to respectbility at the very least.
