Ok, I'm not doing week one because it is between conferences and I haven't the time nor energy to scout an entire conference for one weeks worth of games. So here are the week 2 predictions
Watertown vs Destruction Bay
Chemistry:
Watertown 75 and Destruction Bay 86 At time of post. The difference will still remain the same barring roster changes.
Key factors:
Destruction Bay has Watertown outleveled on the lines. Watertown O Line average 20 while DB D line average 23. Destruction Bay averages 20 on the o line (deeper) and Watertown averages 20.
Actually, DB has them outleveled in skill position battles as well.
Destruction Bay by 21 or more. Watertown needs to game plan like crazy in this one, imo.
Manilla vs Bay City:
Chemistry:
Manilla 75 and Bay City 86
Key Points
I do not think there is enough chemistry hit for Bay City to have a chance vs one of the conference favorites.
Manilla by at least 50
Penetrators vs West Palm
Chemistry:
Penetrators 100 and West Palm 50!
Key Points:
The conference favorite vs a team with half its chemistry and an incomplete roster with 2 days to go in the preseason spells disaster for someone. West Palm will be much better next season, as for now...
Penetrators do it hard, long all day. Win by 90 or more.
South Shore Slammers vs Cook Island
Chemistry:
South Shore 66 and Cook Island 77
Key Points:
Pretty even on offense, but defense is where this game will be decided. Cook Island has level issues in the linebacker corps and the secondary. The average linebacker level is below 16 and the secondary is below 17. Up against skilled offensive positions will make it difficult to get South Shore's Offense off the field. For cook island to win they have to control the clock.
South Shore by 14
South Dublin vs Bogata
Chemistry:
Doesn't matter.
Key Points:
A solid playoff bound team vs a CPU team? Forget about it.
South Dublin by 255.
Thunderbay Sharks vs Downtown
Chemistry:
Thunderbay 81 and Downtown 100
Key Points:
Considering Thunderbay has outleveled my offense with their defense by double I don't have much of a chance. I don't think that my chem advantage can compensate. Oh, and they are deeper. I have a secret weapon though, luck, lots of it! lol.
Thunderbay by 49.
