Features lost and Beans lost. I think that Manchester could have beat the Hitmen, and I think the Trolls against Manchester or the Cats could go either way. Overall, alpha is superior, but the top 4 teams in both conferences are pretty equal. I think it would depend on the match-ups. Although, the Alley Cats and Trolls seem to be a step above the rest.

I would have to agree, in saying that MA Trolls are the best team. But I believe that top to bottom Alpha is the better conference. The best example is a team like West Country Wyverns. These guys are the 8th seed, and have played every team tuff, but as luck would have it they just couldn't pull our a lot of those close games. They are absolutely good enough to beat us in the first round if things don't go right.

I appreciate the compliment on behalf of the Wyverns.

I think that the fact we've been able to turn around to 9-7 from a three win season has been a testament to our hard work, but the seven losses we've faced haven't been blowouts. This means we can improve to a point where we compete with the Alley Cats and the Mob. This is coming from the #8 seed in the playoffs. I don't mean to sound braggadocios, but that's just how I see things from what I know about my fellow coaches.

So you're basing everything on one round of games? Have you even seen the games? Players have bad days and they have good days. I think both divisions are pretty even.

No, i'm saying that different match-ups of the top teams could or would produce different outcomes.

You could be right about that, but I still think 1 round of games is too little informatin to actually get anything valuable. But There might be a small lean towards alpha

Looks like we ALL have 4 games left no matter if you make the playoffs or don't, or get bumped early in the playoffs or run the whole thing (I'm sure I'm one of the last to find this out...been so busy making sure Insider wasn't blasting Yo-Yo anymore that I haven't checked the main forum in a while).

Hopefully this will provide more Alpha vs. Zeta games for this discussion...

I hope not...more xp mean higher higher training, closer to the next equipment upgrade, and that all leads to higher salaries.

That's why I found the forum in the first place. On page 17 (don't bother reading it all) Bort says 'No XP for games'. Only XP for training...I think?

No XP for playoff or consolation games. Bort said he considered it but decided not to change midstream, so maybe next season.

Yes from my understanding it is as follows:

Round 1 Playoff game = $100,000
Round 2 Playoff game = $200,000
Conference Championship game = $300,000
League Championship game = $400,000
League Champion = $1,000,000

Nice! I love that. That was smart thinking by Bort.

O yeah plus you still get ticket sales and concessions from home games. I am not sure if you get $1,000,000 for League Champion or if that is the total for the entire playoffs as it makes sense that the League Champion should be rewarded and it totals $2,000,000 if that is the case.

I stand corrected here is the official word and thread from Bort.

Instead of doing the ticket rev share, all teams that make the playoffs and/or advance will be getting bonus cash this year, up to $1M in bonuses depending on how far they go.

Making it to round 1 (making it at all): $100k bonus
Making it to round 2: $200k bonus
Making it to round 3: $300k bonus
Making it to championship: $400k bonus

Ticket rev share was too dependent on who you are facing as far as earnings go for visitor teams, so we're going with bonuses.

The first round bonuses will get processed sometime in the next day or so.

Playoff home teams can still sell tickets as normal.

We might look at updating for next season to give bigger bonuses for higher leagues, but this is easy to figure out for now.
