false starts on centers are basically moving the ball before the snap. Sometimes the center will actually snap the ball and no one else on the team moves. I usually see it called a couple times a year.
False start is moving himself or the ball without snapping. If he snaps, it's a play, no penalty, but he messed up the snap count.
