I saw this on another forum from a team i OC'd for.


What is your team's all time record in Africa and what is the season by season breakdown?

Season 3 regular season 0-16 My first season and my TE's first season. I became the OC around game 13
Season 4 regular season 4-12 Players were ecstatic to see a W in the W/L column, but we were far from a good team
Season 5 regular season 6-10 Again an improvement, but no playoffs (hell to recruit good players to a shit team)
Season 6 regular season 8-8 I thought we were gonna make the playoffs but it wasnt in the cards
Season 7 regular season 9-7 Playoffs 0-1 Lost to Detroit Drive by 28-12
Season 8 regular season 8-8 Drifted back out of the playoffs because my DC was a moron one game and a few close games that we blew
Season 9 regular season 9-7 Playoffs 0-1 Lost to Swaziland Dachsunds 27-41

Suez Sultans -

Season 5: Owned by PantherQB. He recruited a handful of my guys to the team. I started OCing half way through the season and we ended 11-4-1. Lost first round of the Playoffs.
Season 6: Took over the team when PantherQB was forced to leave due to real life constraints. Ended 13-3 losing once again in the first round of the playoffs.
Season 7: Got some help OCing from djaco and DCing from BBG. Ended 15-1. Losing to Brazzaville in the conference finals.
Season 8: Bumped up to AA. Still keeping the same core of guys, rarely having to recruit more than 4 or 5 positions each off season. Managed to go 8-8 after our advancement. First round playoff loss.
Season 9: Another minor recruitment off season. fighting to 10-6 in the regular season to get destroyed in the first round.

57-22-1 regular season record. 2-5 post season.

Season 10 BaseballGuyCCA has taken over the team ownership and reinforced the front office structure. Look for us to be a bigger factor in the road to victory in season 10.

Season 3: 16-0 regular season and 1-1 in the playoffs

Season 7: 10-6 regular season and 0-1 in the playoffs (The first season the owner and I took over the team)

- In Africa A #8 with a stadium with zero additions to it at the time. We were just happy to be competitive

Season 8: 15-1 regular season and 1-1 in the playoffs

- Still in Africa A#8. We were building up the stadium and couldn't pay out any equipment upgrades. We had a solid team but we were beat out by another solid team in the 2nd round of the playoffs (damn you Binghampton Bombers!)

Season 9: 11-5 regular season and 0-1 in the playoffs

- Made our way to AA #4 and were happy to be competitive. Still no equipment cash handed out to our players. Season 10 we will be able to pay for equipment for the first time. Stadium upgrade will be completed prior to the start of season 10. Our chemistry hurt us more than anything during the regular season and we were killed in the playoffs due to great game-planning by Strong Badia Tires.

Rosetta Stone

Season 5: 8-8 Team was put together pretty quickly, so a non-losing season was an accomplishment. No playoffs for us though

Season 6: 10-6 Playoff loss to Cameroon, who later ended up starting over and are now in A6

Season 7: 12-4 1st round win, 2nd round loss to those pesky Dumbala of Bumba

Season 8: promoted to AA unexpectedly and got caught with our pants down, but managed to win 9 games with our massively underlevelled team

Season 9: 9-7 again, but with 3 losses by 4 or less, and some additions to the team, we feel we're ready for a big push in season 10.

Algeria Desert Foxes

Season 3: In their first season, the Togo Outlaws go 10-6, 1-1 in the playoffs. Team is GUTTED and promptly deserted by it's owner, almost bankrupting it in the process. Sever Citrin takes over the team and with every last dime relocates it to Algeria, renaming the team from the Outlaws to the Desert Foxes in honor of WW2 German tank commander and brilliant tactician Erwin Rommel, "The Desert Fox".

Season 4: 0-16 in first season under new ownership. There's no league to get demoted to, and a gutted team with no money fails to win even a single game. The closest they come is in Week 2 at the Impending Doom, losing 13-16 in the final five seconds. The team finishes the season in the red and must take out a loan just to survive.

Season 5: 3-13 in a poor showing. The team struggles financially throughout it's entire time in AA#4, never quite able to recover from being gutted and destroyed by the first owner. The team is just excited to have won a game. Once again, the team finishes in the red and has to take out a loan to survive. Still, there is nowhere to be demoted.

Season 6: 4-12 in a slightly better season, and the front office acts like a revolving door for OCs, DCs, and GMs. Slowly, however, the team is beginning to solidify it's front office in Ralnakor, MV Thunder, mactruck and Pher Hobbits. Rumor of a deadly defense in the next season begins to stir, and with a new A league in place beneath their current tier, the Foxes barely escape demotion due to the plethora of abandoned teams.

Season 7: 6-10, with a heartbreaking week 1 loss that set the tone for the season. The consistent improvement was, however, reason to believe, and the team marched forward. It was decided that Season 8 would probably be the final season before scrapping the team and starting over... at least the owner was certain of that. Despite a stout defense led by TROGDOR the BURNINATOR, Egon Spangler, Pher Hobbits, Brett McEvoy and Gabriel LaVere, the Foxes cannot get enough offense going to salvage their season.

Season 8: 6-10 again. The record baffled anyone following the Foxes' roster, because it was certain they were poised for a playoff push, and found themselves favored in more games than their record suggested. Feeling doomed to mediocrity due to a far too small stadium, lack of incoming revenue and the inability to shell out money for equipment for his players, owner Sever Citrin is one click from scrapping the team when co-owner Ralnakor convinces him into one more do-or-die season.

Season 9: 5-3 halfway through the season, and a difficult 6-10 end of the season. A nasty 7-game losing streak dashed the season's hopes and dreams, and owner Sever Citrin scraps the team and is APPROVED FOR DEMOTION despite finishing in 11th place in the league... again. He swears vengeance and promises to return and defeat his rival, Trazer, on the gridiron one day. Panzer Field is demolished in the wake of the announcement that the team has been demoted, and The Kasserine Pass is under construction, rumored to be 107% larger than the old stadium at somewhere around 35,000 seats.

Season 6 - Purchased team in Africa AAA - 1.5 mil, no stadium, recruited like a madman for the season upcoming. Found a couple of agents with at least 2 players, and a handfull of other agents to help out. Ended up 3-13

Season 7 - Demoted to AA - Still no funds for EQ, and kept core together. Ended up 7-9

Season 8 - AA - rebuilding stadium, bad OC (ME!) - 4-12 (Beat Trazer to dash his playoff hopes though!)

Season 9 - AA Played tougher, offense still sputtered in the big games. finished 7-9 in 9th place (Trazer got his revenge!) Lose last 4 to not make playoffs. Had RJ take over D which helped us greatly. Hurting for EQ still, but at least rev sharing will help with stadium and upgrades....

Season 10 - Playoffs baby!

Season 7 - East Europe BBB7 Expansion Team - 13 - 3, lost League Championship.

Season 8 - East Europe A4 - 9 - 7, missed playoffs in four team tie breaker.

Season 9 - East Europe A4 - 15 - 1, lost Conference Championship.
