I think the test server will help speed it up a bit but all the shuffling and complaints about it will delay it some.

The Test blog mentioned a change to the offensive AI allowing you to call specific play like the defense.

I do not know if that would mean rolling out the offensive play creator or not but I personally hate the 4 game pre-season (unless there are chem hits to recover from).

My guess would be that stadium construction will be middle of next week and real games start around the 15th.

I think it's increased by 2 days or so each time recently so I'm going for a 12 day offseason

Yeah, close to two weeks sounds about right.

I think a season or so ago.. if you had taken out a loan the time stop during the long off season?

no it was if you missed a payment there weren't penalties, it still took the money if you had it

If you need players a long offseason could be nice, then again all the good players are gone on day 1

last season I ran into a lot of people that waited until the day before preseason started to sign for a team... sad thing is that there are 50+ offers for a decent person almost every day so it really is a players market... you gotta have something to offer... and if that offer is to play back up you damn well better be a pro team...

Yea i know what you mean. Or a really really good USA AAA team.
