It all went downhill after that pick 6. We would have got a FG at minimum making the score 14-9 but instead a quick pick 6 made the score 21-6. That was a killer...LOL

I am sure Alpha is the superior conference, no need to even game plan for the next game.

Good luck to everyone in Alpha next season.

I meant no disrespect in that comment of Alpha being the "superior" conference - maybe it kinda came off that way. You guys knocked off some good teams along the way. Believe me we wont take you guys lightly.

Warsaw just won't die quietly I expect nothing short of another epic battle ............BUT.........the Four Horsemen will prevail again.

Again, its always been close games decided by 1 or 2 plays that determine the fate of the other team. Man, I hate getting up for games against you guys.

Let's make a deal. If Warsaw wins Blazing stays in Springville. If Warsaw loses...Blazing stays in Springville.

Looks like Blazing is staying in Springville

could have went either way. i was ready for Milkoman to take you up on the bet, neither one of us had a good feeling about playing you guys.
we kept going back and forth on who we thought would win the game so much, that I told him I wouldn't take you up on it. otherwise his post would look like the bottom of this one.

Let's make a deal. If Warsaw wins Blazing stays in Springville. If Warsaw loses...Blazing can go.

I didnt take your comment as putting zeta down, was just encouraging you to not game plan for the Championship game. I just hope we can give you guys a good game. We will do our best and thats all that can be asked. It looks like the shuffling of leagues was a real improvement if this season is any indication. Sure there were some teams who had problems competing but it wasnt 3 or 4 teams with only a couple losses and the rest of the teams with only a couple of wins. Michigan showed that any team in the playoffs in Zeta could have gone all the way. That is a huge change from what I remember of the playoffs in past seasons.

BTW, is that Joey Porter in your avatar?

Um, there was no shuffle for EE A last season.

Anyway it was a great season from my point of view. Only a couple teams in Zeta who I didnt think would give us a game.

I still want to know what happened to you guys when Hartford played you....

Looking back I can only guess we were still set more toward a pass offense than balanced or rush and it was around the time that Bort tweaked the sim so that defenses started knocking the ball loose more often. Our morale got destroyed early in that game and we just went down hill from there. I also think our DC had us set for a basic AI on defense that game. I dont think it was any one thing just a combination of events that caused us to fair so poorly against you guys.

Then again it might be that we just dont compare well to you guys.

This is going to sound like trash talk but it really isn't...these are just my observations as an OC/DC/Scout on the Templiers.

They were the highest leveled team in the league (according to match-up bars and scripts). They consistently underperformed throughout the season. When I scouted them, I found it was because they ran a basic vanilla offense with no real "plan" or direction. They did the same on defense as well. After the Hartford loss, I am trying to remember...didn't they add a few more players and begin to plan with more of a purpose on both offense and defense? I know for our game, we had a good plan and hung with them for a while but then once our subs began to rotate through, we got killed - they couldn't compete.

I would have to call Elancourt the underdog...unless they have ratcheted up thier planning and tactics...then they could potentially be quite awesome.

We did add players as the season went on, mostly to replace CPU's and inactive players. I am sure our offensive and defensive AI improved as we went along. This is my first season back after a couple seasons out of GLB due to personal reasons and the defensive coordinator was learning the AI (he has come along quite well). When I arrived there were plenty of people with potential but very little knowledge about AI and such (not that I am saying I taught everyone everything they know, just the team was taken over during the middle of last season and ownership worked their butts of to improve everything). Anyway I pretty much agree with your scouting of us.
