While I agree that it's kinda wild for a game to take such a sudden turn, Detroit is clearly built as a team, and we all know that a number of VAs (especially when coordinated properly across a team) can aid in increased performance as the game progresses. Plus, I don't know what type of AI they ran, could have been completely different following the first quarter/half.
However, down three with a little less than two minutes to go and facing a 4th and 2 around midfield, I'm handing the ball to Kolpaz and letting my star HB take the season in his hands.
i see your point, but seeing as Kolpaz averages about 1.3 ypc against detroit the end result would have been the same or worse......
