So...at the moment, it looks like 4 promotions from here to AA4 seems likely,

The two automatics, then there are two CPU teams in AA4, so one of those slots comes to us, making three.

There are three CPU teams in AAA2, there's a 75% chance one of those slots comes down to us (through AA4 promoting either 2 (in which case 1 comes to us) or 1 (50/50 chance one comes to us))

No CPU's in Pro.

Of course, more CPU's could happen as the season ends.

So, it looks quite likely that the winners of the Conference Semi-Finals win promotion.

A week or so I figured there'd be 3 teams from A#8 that would go. I'll have to check again. And yes, many go CPU after the season.

get rid of all these teams better than us dammit!!

You'll also have to factor in the strength and promos from A7 AND this new league restructure. Hard to say how it will work but it looks like only the 2 teams in the champ game will go to AA and the rest to this "cloud" structured league Bort mentioned. I think any promos for CPU teams dropping down will come from that after the restructure. Just a heads up.

True, but at that point all the CPUs from every region would have to be figured into the equation since it appears that once you hit the "cloud" you could go to any region.

So, to me it looks like the 2 champs go to AA in WE and the rest go to the cloud- some of which could then go AA in other regions...

Yeah thats true. I don't think that you are tied to a region once you hit the 'cloud' structured league. That kinda sucks but WE AA#4 is pretty stout so maybe you'll get a better league lol. Well GL to all you ocho teams!

*IF* (and it's a big if) I'm interpreting his post right, there is one final "normal" round of promotion/relegation going on before this reformation.

At least, that's what I'm hoping for, because I'd really like to stay out of the swirly cloud of unstructured chaos.

You and me both heh. I think we'll see 3 teams from each A league go.

This season will be promoted as normal before the new rules go into effect, however, the new rules will go into effect at end of this season AFTER promotions.
