I figured I'd pick up the reigns for the Pro Bowl this season.

It'd be too simple to just use the MVP tally to make a Pro Bowl team. This is about Owner's and GM's nominating their top players. Then letting the players, owners and GM's vote for their favorites. I hope to have enough nominees for a 1st and 2nd team for both Offense and Defense.

Rules:
1. Nominations must be PM'd to me... you may nominate 4 players from Offense and 4 Defensive players
2. Any nominations that are PM'd but don't come from an owner or GM will be ignored.
3. Deadline to PM nominations is: COB on day 35.

NOTE: I'll take Both OFFENSE and DEFENSE nominations.

Once I have the nominations, I'll post a separate thread for Offense and Defense nominees with the key stats. It will have a link to the Survey Monkey voting also.

Corran Horn has my vote for #2 SS in the league IMHO

LOL, thanks josh. I wasn't even nominating him this season, but I'll let you do that. I just didn't want to nominate my own player again.

Also, I agree you have to set a limit for number of nominations per team, but I think we will end up missing some good players from the final ballot with only four from each offense and defense.

Nothing says you can't nominate a K or P as part of the EIGHT freaks you can nominate....

does that mean we still would need to nominate a no brainer- like a league O or D mvp?

or a kicker that leads the conference in xp & fg?

What do want? We can use the MVP roster and Bort's got this thing done. We don't need the Pro Bowl nominees.

You want a simulated Pro Bowl by taking the MVP list and have 11 HB's trying to play Offense?

If that's what folks want, fine... I'll quit now. I got some recruiting to do.

If folks want a team, then we need to look deeper on the roster at the P's, K's, G's and OT's and DT's and DE's. Plus the easy nominations for the HB, QB, CB, and WR or TE.

I nominated guys and it wasn't based of of formulas or stats but just what works well for us and makes our team a success.
