This weeks games:
1. (1) Luxembourg Lightning Bolts vs. (4) October Wildfire **** Game of the Week ****
In the only game with potential to shake up the standings, the October Wildfire takes on the Luxembourg Lightning Bolts. The Bolts are now secure in their #1 seed, but The Wildfire can throw everything into Chaos if they pull off a win forcing a 3 way tie for 2nd - 4th place. I have a feeling that Luxembourg isn't going to let that happen though.
Luxembourg Lightning Bolts 35: October Wildfire 3
2. (2) Red River Ruminants vs. (12) Arlington Sandlot
RRR will be trying to rack up as many points as possible just to make sure that a 3 way tie doesn't hurt them. They will be bent on destroying Arlington, and will score early and often.
Red River Ruminants 132 : Arlington Sandlot 0
3. (3) Whitechapel Rippers vs. (15) Mile High Hitmen
Whitechapel is in the same boat as RRR, so they will be going for the over kill against Mile High. Again expect a high scoring game.
Whitechapel Rippers 101: Mile High Hitmen 6
4. (5) London Olympians vs. (9) Rome Ramblin' Thornites
London is secure in the #5 position, but they will want to keep up momentum going into the playoffs. I expect them to put forth a high level of play. Rome just won't be able to keep up.
London Olympians 61 : Rome Ramblin' Thornites 10
5. (5) Glasgow Cats vs. (13) Honolulu Wave Riders
The Cats need a break after the pounding they took last week. Luckily the premier vacation destination of the WE BBB#2 is their last game of the season. The Cats need to regroup and re-think if they expect to have any effect on the playoffs.
Glasgow Cats 68 : Honolulu Wave Riders 10
6. (7) Flint Hobo vs. (11) Barcelona Bisons
Flint has the 7th seed wrapped up, but needs so momentum going into the playoffs. Expect them to try to wrack up some points on the Bisons who have been very generous in that category this season
Flint Hobo 55 : Barcelona Bisons 10
7. (8) Reading Armed Centaurs vs. (16) St. George Javalinas
RAC will make the playoffs in the #8 position with their 8th win of the season this week. It hasn't been an easy road, but they will finish the regular season on a high note scoring their largest total yet.
Reading Armed Centaurs 95 : St. George Javalinas 0
8. (10) Leipzig Lions vs. (14) Russian Strelets
Nothing but pride to fight for in this game, but since Russian Street Urchins have no pride, I don't think they will put up much of a fight against the Lions.
Leipzig Lions 35 : Russian Strelets 14
Good Luck Everyone!
