I hate to break it to you...you're building wrong. Well considering me being right means you've wasted FP and months of time not having fun, I hope I'm wrong for your sake. Though I've crunched the numbers several times and yea, you're building wrong.

That's training and where it's most effective. The whole concept behind not spending your SPs when it would benefit you due to natural gains is to maximize training effectiveness. Well, according to training effectiveness, SPs are best spent on attributes 35-48 and 54-60. You are actually doing the least effective thing possible with your training by bringing your stats up to 40-48 before spending SPs.

GIG are all being built differently. My guys are built to maximize natural gains and training efficiency - training to about 35 on intense, dumping points in as soon as I can get to a softcap. After I'm done having things to train to ~35, I'm moving on to training my highest stats. Very systematic, with all stats and training combos planned out. How high I go on a single stat depends on the position, but some have gone to 60 before moving on, some have gone to 75. It's not the most efficient way to build a player, as I'm not also always getting my skills trained to ~95%, then training for the +1 later when it's 3 softcaps higher. But at the same point, I'm having fun right now and winning, so I'm not sacrificing my fun now for potential fun later.

you could just summarize that mess with" slowbuilding"..

A summary might not be enough. THeres obviously people in this thread that confuse what slowbuilding is. Look at PurplandGold. He woulda thought we were building like his team....we aren't.
I'm not sure its a good idea to help the comp Oronis. Are we so tired of dominating at this level that we are helping the bad guys catch up?

Sounds pretty much like what the Helots are doing as well for the most part. Train until we can soft cap and then we get our major attributes up to 77 and move onto the minors. I don't know if everyone else is doing this, but I also train to 90%+ and leave it to get that +1 later down the road.
Basically what I'm looking for in the end, is (using my HB as an example) pretty dang close to 90 speed and 90 strength WITHOUT equipment by getting them both up to 77 asap and then having it get up to the high 80s through natural gains and training.
There are a few on the helots who are holding onto all sp though, and not spending any.

I kinda asked him to be a little more specific than just slowbuilding. There are several different ways to slow build.

Hmm....damn you Dan I don't like giving the competition any type of helpful information whatsoever.
Just insult their mother and/or team and be done with it.
