I wasn't going to give you guys additional scouting for our game against Barossa that season, especially after how often you guys went around bragging after that playoff upset thanks to you abusing Strong I offtackle. God forbid I put a priority on not matching up against a team who could use the game as a chance to experiment and figure out the best way to try to beat us in a game that actually mattered.

Its about how you all paraded the victory all around GLB, and acted like you were the kings of GLB because you knocked off an undefeated team in the playoffs. I gave you your props for the victory at the time, but you kept going on and on about it, and that's what pissed me, and many others, off about that game.

And why should I accept every challenge sent my way? I've got nothing to prove against you guys. If I remember right, Samoa's the one still in OPL, and you guys are the ones that had to drop down to single A because you couldn't hang with the big dogs.

I think I've proven well enough which team is better.

EDIT: If your defense was as good as it was, why did this happen when we had a rematch in S6?

Samoa is overrated, though I've mentioned it before.

That said, Barossa isn't even on the map.

Imagine having a team that had a lot of good players, but for whatever reason you just couldn't get things to fall into place for 4 + seasons. You know you have the talent to win in your league, yet you just can't seem to do it. And then when you barely make the playoffs and knock off the undefeated #1 team in the conference, you can't help to be excited about it. It's like when a mother watches her child graduate from college - the first in the family to do so. You're so proud and you want everyone to know.

That was my experience w/ Barossa, and that game (at that time) was more of a symbolic game for us than just a playoff game. It was like we beat GLB, not just the Gangsters. I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings or pissed you off, but it's not like we kept talking shit about that one game the whole time we were in OPRO. We quit once we started getting our asses kicked.

And I'll admit that Barossa was promoted to the pros a little prematurely, but we held our own. We won a few games, and I bet if we had the means to stick around we probably could have been a competitive team here. But we had 2 other pro teams and 3 other lower level teams, and we were losing GMs and we had to downsize.

Anyways, I'm over this thread, too. I was hoping to get at least one good scrimmage game from an OPRO team, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen... this league is just too overrated. Plus, we've got 3 scrimmages lined up this weekend and I don't know if we'll be allowed to schedule any more. If anyone changes their mind, try sending a scrimmage our way for day 32.

Good luck Moose, Gangsters, and everyone else in OPRO. Maybe I'll be back one day... who knows.
