I think they have the Defensive MVP absolutely correct at the moment!

Vince, whilst being a fine Pass Rusher is a little too 1 dimensional for such a prestigeous award.

The best defensive player in the Conference however is currently 9th on that list.

The "Fruit of Bort's Loins" has had a Season for the ages, that is for sure.........

One dimensional? I doubt it.

If Vince is one dimensional, then so is Mahoney and Cole. Vince was very good against the run this season. The only difference between the 3 players is Cole and Mahoney rode the fumble train and Vince was sacking the QB. Not to mention that Mahoney played ST's and that accounted for ALOT of his stats, Vince didnt play STs. If he did, his stats would be much better.

Thats how the list should be, those 3 players for DMVP: Jet, Mahoney and Cole. All 3 are awesome LBers.

Mahoney is actually a bit of an "in joke" on the Exiles forums. He is nothing special, i promise you that. Had a bit of luck with AE and the rest is history.

Jett is the finest LB in the conference. Watched a lot of film an he is a STUD.

For my money though Meat'N'Potatoes, the Exiles DT is the best Defensive player in the Conference.

Now a Jet, Mahoney, Cole LBing group would be deadly, any chance you want to play for BC and ill talk to Cole as well.....

As for Mahoneys luck, im sure its still a good build, i know a few guys with FF machines and the builds arent anything special. Like you said, a good piece of AE helps, Power Tackling VA and maybe a good mix of the SAs to go with a decent build.

Probably get nerfed like the DE's in the off-season.....you can see it coming.
