Season 9: Week 13
Sorry for missing the last couple of weeks.
With only 4 weeks left in the season there are still a few things to be decided. The home field advantage for the top 4 teams appears to be safe, the only real question is who gets the 2nd and 3rd seed. Which only matters to the extent that it gives the 2nd seed more money from the home game in the 2nd round where Roslov and Samara will almost certainly meet. Mo$cow has a very easy schedule to finish out the season with The Zagrib Bling being the only team with any life in them. The 5-8 seeds still have plenty to fight for but if my projections turn out, it looks like we will see Oregon in 5th, Petrovaradin in 6th(due to Oregon's surprise loss to Szeged), Praugue in 7th, and Szeged in 8th. There won't be much excitement this week as the match ups are pretty cut and dry.

Szeged's only chance to move up in the rankings is to win this weeks match up against the Purveyors. The Purveyors look to be in no mood to let one go, so I expect that they will continue to put in a good effort.

2. (2) Roslav Razorbacks vs. (11) Kharkiv Lo Pans
This shouldn't be much of a game as Kharkiv hasn't shown the ability to hang in there with the top teams.

3. (3) Samara Red Machine vs. (15) Curitiba Titans
Samara will keep with their winning formula and try for another 255 point game, I think they will get it too.

This game is Zagreb's last chance to make it to the playoffs. If they don't win this game, they will be watching from the sidelines for another year. I hope their golf swings are warm, because that is just what is going to happen.

5. (5) Oregon Donors vs. (13) Barcelona Forajidos
Oregon struggled a bit last week against the Szeged Oilers, though it won't hurt them in the rankings. This week they will have an easy game to get their bearings back.

6. (6) Petrovaradin Fortress vs. (16) Team SlowBuild
Petrovaradin jumped up to 6th place in my rankings, and has only the Bling left to face. Their other 3 games are against the lowest teams in the league. This week won't be a problem, but next week they should have to put a little effort at least into the game.

Praugue will have no problems this week against the Heartless Winners.

In my mind Percival is clearly the better team, and should win this one easily.
