Because the AA3 forums are much quieter than the A6 forums of last season, I figured now was a good time for an update of those promoted out of A6.
For those who are newcomers and those who have forgotten, these are the four teams which came from A6 last season:
East
Tennessee Fury (20-0; Champions)
Louisiana Tighas (17-10; surprise playoff performance)
West
Corpus Christi Illegal Aliens (20-2; Western champs & runners up)
Mentone Beach Assault (22-4)
As it stands, AA3 is a much tougher league to play in. Virtually every game, even with teams that are at lower ranks, is quite a battle. Despite that, A6 teams have fared fairly well so far. In the East, Fury is going strong after a slow start. It took us some time to adjust to the sim changes, but we've won 7 straight since that time (mostly VERY close games) and are tied for 3rd with a 8-2 record. Louisiana started strong, but is sitting at a 5-5 record after a close loss to us last game.
In the West, Mentone is going strong. They started the season with a loss to us (one of us had to lose) but are now 7-3 and tied for 3rd in their division. CCIA has struggled a bit in their most recent two games, losing to former A6 teams (Horde and Mentone).
Overall, we're faring fairly well. I believe most of us will make the AA3 playoffs this season and there is a fair chance that one of us might be able to get promoted. Either way, this conference is loaded with solid teams and most of us will see 4 or so teams from A6 next season.

Yeah AA is tough, but I've known that for a while. Not to say A6 isn't one of the toughest A Leagues I ever played in!!!!! I'm sure if you do well here; you'll do well in AA3. Good luck to everyone!!!!
