No real huge changes up top as everyone in the top 8 won. The skyforce make an appearance in the top 10, and will probably remain there the rest of the season. Teikoku still sits under the radar, but their remaining schedule will see them move up dramatically if they win. BC, Port Moody, Lincoln, and Houston are 4 of their last 6 games and all 4 of those teams sit in the top third of the standings.

Playoff Prognostications - WEST

It looks like Mudville and Houston are going to finish 1-2 atop the West. 'Nuff said.

3rd to 9th place are separated by only one game in the West as it looks like 7 teams will battle for 6 spots and 2 home games. Out of this group, Springfield appear to be on the outside looking in with 4 games against Oregon, Mudville, BWA, and Columbus.

Down but not out (completely) are Lynchburg and Nic Cage. These teams would need to make a run to get to the playoffs with two of the above teams crashing out as well. If that were to happen it would likely be Lynchburg to step up. However, they'll need some of the teams ahead of them to lose 4 (or 5) of their last 6 games.

Playoff Prognostications - EAST

Texas will finish 1

The remaining 7 spots are also fairly worked out although the order of finish is still anyone's guess. It looks like Florida, Lincoln, and Cuban are probably on track for home playoff games. The other teams vying for seeding are Houston, Port Moody, Teikoku, and BC.

Hanging on by a thread are a group of four teams, Victoria, Atlanta, Richmond, and Knights. These guys would need a collapse (probably from BC) and a major winning streak to pop into the playoffs. The most likely candidate would be either Atlanta or Victoria as they both could win 4 of their last 6 to finish 7-9. Richmond has a brutal schedule left: BC, Port Moody, Lincoln, Houston, Teikoku, and Cuban *OUCH* Winning 1 game would be a major victory!

Enjoy the rest of the season!

GOTW

West

Oregon vs. San Jose
Wow this one shapes up to be a doozy. San Jose has been on a tear of late winning 6 of their last 7 and taking down teams like INYA ONYA, Springfield, and BWA. The only loss was a tough game against Mudville where the Bombers had to rally in the 4th quarter to win by 7. Oregon has pretty much done everything their supposed to do this season with the exception of a hiccup against BMD. The question is how do these teams stack up against each other? It seems to me that San Jose has just been playing better ball of late, and they're poised to continue a run into the top 4 and a home playoff game. However Oregon has every bit of ability to prove me wrong. Honestly this game is a toss-up but here goes:

San Jose 41, Oregon 21

**Honorable mention**

Columbus vs. Houston Cougars
I think most pundits would put Houston as the victors in this matchup of playoff teams. I would be one of them, but it is an important game for seeding, and deserves to be watched. So check it out:

Houston 63, Columbus 10

East

Florida vs. Texas Tarheels
This game looks to be a battle of jaugernauts for the Eastern conference title. With only one loss between the two teams, a 26-23 dissapointment to Teikoku, both teams have got to be feeling pretty good about their chances on making a deep playoff run. As good as Florida is, I just don't see that they'll have an answer for the Tarheels (who should go unchallenged until they face the Western conference champion in the playoffs). If Florida is going to make a game of it, they'll need to pray to Jesus for some serious yards on both the ground and in the air. PJ is a true dual threat HB and will have to be dealt with or else he will dominate. If the Tarheels bottle him up, then who is left to make a play for the BeachDogZ? I'm still waiting for that answer myself...

Texas 61, Florida 24

**Honorable Mention**

Lincoln vs. Port Moody
Port Moody can silence the critics with a win. Lincoln is still looking for a top 4 finish and home playoff cash. Port Moody will make the playoffs, but they'll suffer a beatdown from the Freedom Warriors this week.

Lincoln 52, Port Moody 10

**Honorable Mention 2**

Richmond vs. BC Beasters
BC is in solid position to maintain a playoff position here, but a loss to Richmond could breathe some life into Atlanta and Victoria's playoff hopes. You can bet that this game will be watched with interest from the Dogs and Teabaggers. Ever since Richmond gained new ownership in USA BBB#7, they've gotten better each season. This may not be their year, but watch out next season. These guys will be in the post-season.

BC 34, Richmond 23

GOTW's are not supposed to be blow-outs!

That is, unless every other games are blow-outs as well.

i think florida vs texas will be closer than that. they'll keep em to under 45 in my opinion, it should be closer to 42-24 and BC vs RE should be a crushing win for BC, no offense to RE but BC have the upper hand here.

GOTW are games that I think the result is important in overall standings. The score prediction is based purely on my bias and nothing else. Sometimes I'm close and sometimes I'm not. I personally think that Texas will blow out Florida. Will they put up 60? who knows. Both teams are REALLY good, but I think texas is that much better.
