So the season has started to shape up, we have a general idea about where teams stack up against each other. Rancho hasn't played the Dry Fishies yet, but in two weeks both those will be settled. Now the tiers are a little loose, and one team could make a surprise. But for now, this seems to be the consensus for how the teams fare.

Notable games in parenthesis. Italics = scrimmage.

East:
Tier 1
Nova (W - Moose Jaw, W - Rancho, W - Keg River, W - Naga, W - Hammers) .................... Upcoming important: Chicago, Moncton
Tier 2
Chicago (L - Fishies, W - Moncton, W - Hammers) .................................................................... Upcoming important: Naga, Keg River, Nova
Keg River (L - Nova, W - Hammers, W - Naga, W - Dry) ............................................................ Upcoming important: Chicago, Moncton
Moncton (L - Dry, L - Chicago, L - Fishies, L - Grove City, L - Moose Jaw, W - Hammers) .. Upcoming important: Nova, Naga, Keg River

Now Moncton looks bad due to the losses, but the only bad loss was to Moose Jaw, they were within 5 of the Fishies.

West:
Tier 1
Canada (W - Moncton, W - Fishies, W - Grove City, L - Hammers, L - Keg River) ............. Upcoming important: Rancho
Victoria (W - Chicago, W - Grove City, W - Moncton, L - Naga, L - Dry, L - Moose Jaw) ..... Upcoming important: Rancho
Tier 2
Rancho (W - Moose Jaw, L - Grove City, L - Nova Scotia) ...................................................... Upcoming important: Dry Fishies
Grove City (L - Dry, L - Fishies, W - Rancho, W - Naga, W - Moncton) ................................... Upcoming important: Moose Jaw

The questions amount to who has the better 1st tier, and who has the better 2nd tier?

P.S. I got bored waiting for an assignment to come in, so decided to whip this up.

Nova Scotia v. Canada Dry scrimmage IMO.

I don't put much stock in scrimmages. I'm lazy when it comes to scouting for them.

I'll send over a scrimmage for Canada Dry if they're interested. I'm not sure how often they scrimmage teams. I usually just accept if I have the flex or a free one to give. Right now I have 30 flex that probably won't be used to scrimmage with.

I'd rather wait to possibly meet them in the finals

I think top to bottom the West has better teams. Seems like there's a little more balance over there and more teams that actually game plan.

i believe for AI in the scrimmages we ran whatever we ran in the ship last season which involved a lot of strong I slam and for the second 2 games we were running on a very high percentage of passes.

My excuses are made. I think top to bottom the west is better than the east this season. I think the top 3 in the west go either 2-1 or 3-0 against the top 3 in the east no matter who plays each other.

Oh come on, I'm sure you can come up with plenty more excuses if you had to

probably, but those are the only ones I can remember for such a long time ago.

That's why I noted scrimmages in italics. But since it's a pretty good assumption that neither team does any gameplanning for scrimmages, they mean something at least. How well can each team play against each other with a gameplan that's not tailor made to the opponent?

I rather would too honestly. Don't want to give them an easy leg up to see how we match-up against each other.
