GAME OF THE WEEK

Montana Grizzlies v Pittsburgh Powerhouse
Having just made a mockery of a GoTW, Montana seeks a repeat performance as they pick up steam. Pittsburgh's goal is to show they belong towards the top and this is a big chance to do so. With a combined record of 15-3, easy GoTW choice. Pittsburgh was in shouting distance when they played Atlanta, heading into the 4th. Montana wants to show that their loss against Maine was more fluke than fact. Pitt loves to prove me wrong, but I'll be surprised if that happens this time (I have been surprised before though). Montana 38, Pittsburgh 21.

OTHER GAMES

Furious George v Manhattan Massacre
Manhattan has a real shot at the playoffs this season (where they would likely get a rematch of this game), but they are about to get massacred here. Furious 125, Manhattan 7.

Atlanta Wolves v Vice City Mambas
Atlanta is a home playoff game team, no doubt. Vice City is probably unhappy that I left them out my initial top 8 poll and this will be a chance to prove me wrong. I don't think it will happen this time out though, as Atlanta is just too strong. My only revenge on Atlanta is being right in last season's preseason poll. Atlanta 45, Vice City 17.

Maine Hawks v Bowdoin Polar Bears
Maine has played all of the top teams outside of Pitt thus far and are most likely looking at a home playoff game, whereas Bowdoin is just playing out the season. Maine 55, Bowdoin 20.

Martha's Vineyard Ballbusters v Detroit Outlaws
MV really needs to recover from their 2-game losing streak. Detroit needs to avert their eyes from their schedule for the next 3 games. I suspect the comment I saw in the forum about MV's owner being busy so far this season is correct, but it won't matter here. Martha's Vineyard 42, Detroit 21.

Da NOLA Brah!!! K&B Purples v Detroit Diablos
Da NOLA is currently sitting at #9 in the East and I am sure that doesn't sit well with them. Detroit is sitting at 3-6 with still 5 potential playoff teams on the schedule and a 3 game losing streak. Da NOLA 57, Detroit 10.

Welsh Dragons v Houghton Gremlins
Welsh broke their 3 game losing streak against the Outlaws and get an easy one here. Welsh 150, Houghton 3.

Buffalo Beasts v New Orleans Poison
Buffalo has won 2 of 3 but really hurt themselves losing to Manhattan and that could be a season-ender. No need to fret this week though. Buffalo 200, New Orleans 0.

Not unhappy at all to be honest, we've had a few very disappointing performances. We probably deserve that spot, despite what the standings currently say. Its up to us to improve on that. Should be interesting coming down the home stretch.

Good Luck Atlanta.

GL Montana. At least GL with any GL left over from what we need to not embarrass ourselves.

Score was a bit off, but good write-up.

GG Pittsburgh. The 2 early PR-TDs helped set us on the right foot. GL with the rest of the season.

Yeah, that sure helped and hurt your morale, and set the tempo for our rushing attack for the rest of the game, I thought it would be alot closer than it was.
