We were off and on for awhile...just rebooted to slow build starting this season, which was how those players ended up here, there, and everywhere across GLB.
I just don't see why brandon feels like crowing...I *know* whats going on inside Edinburgh and I think it's like crowing over clubbing nooblets or baby seals, especially if SLC is as "all that" as he claims. But continually harping on both my players (who cannot possibly "win" a game for their team by themselves, even if we had them play offense *and* defense)...and harping on Jake for picking the players up off draft.
I'll bet dollars to donuts that if brandon had the opportunity to pick up those same players for minimum bonus and +$500 over minimum daily that he would've jumped at it...as would most sane folks. Considering that they've forced more turn-overs than several teams combined...and SLC several times over...I'd say they've more than done their part for their team and earned their pay. He just seems kinda irrational IMO.
After all, I've seen some pretty dumb team names in my time on GLB...but had not yet come across a team that felt the need to adopt a city *and* state ... I mean, really...are they the "Salt Lake City - 'Utahs'"? It's such a flat team name...maybe if it was the "Salt Lake City Utes"...or even a more clever name (if you've ever seen My Cousin Vinny) would be "Salt Lake City Youths" -- it may be even appropriate given brandon's insecure need to thump his chest and waggle his tiny e-peen around.
