The Vikings are doing what a lot of bad teams do...draft playmakers for skill positions expecting them to hide bad Quarterbacking, when really what always happens is the opposite...teams stack the box making running backs have bad games, and playmaker receivers end up looking like "busts" because they dont produce.

Bret Favre might get them a few extra wins as they relax the box for Peterson, but soon teams will figure out that Favre is as likely to throw a INT as a TD regardless of the pass coverage, and then stack the box again.

They shouldn't, he's over the hill.

Lean on the running game and tell Rosenfels to make short-intermediate passes to Harvin and Shiancoe (Rice has potential as well) and look for YAC. Make him a game manager who just needs not make mistakes (and don't go running off in the 4th quarter when leading) and they'll do well.

I think Booty would be the better option than Rosenfels at QB, dont they have him too?

Favre is gonna come back as a Vike, guaranteed.
And he'll start.

By adding Brett Favre teams WONT be as quick to stack the box, especially with the addition of Harvins - Yet another explosive game changing player besides AD. I'm thinking the Vikings make a bigger effort to bring in a QB because they knew favre would be released and they would sign him. He is a Viking for sure and could put the Vikings into the next level.

BTW - Die Hard, born and raised Viking fan here. I have been riding the roller coaster for a long time. I think this could be the biggest season to date. Watch and see!

Go Vikes!!

Percy Harvin is a bum. How many pro hits do you think he'll be able to handle. Before he'll be reaching for the bong? HAHA

Dante Culpepper...LOL. You mean that QB that became "over the hill" after 3 seasons?
