Season 9: Week 4

The top 4 stay the same this week, as they all won by large margins. We do have some movement in the middle and lower ranks as the order shakes itself out.

This will be a good test for the Wildfire as they haven't faced a strong team from our conference yet. However they did defeat one of Alpha's strongest teams in game 1, and I think that kind of effort will win through in this game as well.

2. (2) Luxembourg Lightning Bolts vs. (14) Honolulu Wave Riders
Luxembourg won't have to have their best game this week as they play an underdeveloped Honolulu team. They should win by a wide margin.

3. (3) Red River Ruminants vs. (4) Whitechapel Rippers **** Game of the Week ****
Red River takes on Whitechapel this week in our featured game. The Ruminants have a great defense to match Whitechapel's great offense. Going by the old adage defense wins, I am going to give them the win in a very close game.

4. (6) Glasgow Cats vs. (14) Russian Strelets
Glasgow stumbled a bit last week against the London Olympians. Look for them to get back on track against a questionable Russian Strelets team.

5. (8) Flint Hobo vs. (10) Leipzig Lions
The Flint Hobo's host the Leipzig Lions in another good matchup. The Hobo team is on a roll wining their last 2 matches, while the lions won in a strong performance against Barcelona last week. This should be a knock down drag out affair with the Hobo pulling off a win in the 4th quarter.

6. (8) Mile High Hitmen vs. (16) St. George Javalinas
The Mile High Hitmen dropped the ball last week against the Flint Hobo team, but this week they will take a wack at the St. George Javalinas. One to the heart, and two to the head, St. George is dead.

7. (10) Barcelona Bisons vs. (14) Rome Ramblin' Thornites
The Struggling Bisons should pick up their first win of the season against the Rome team this week. Rome is too lacking in depth to keep up against Barcelona's solid offense.

8. (11) Arlington Sandlot vs. (13) Reading Armed Centaurs
Arlington has taken a bruising at the hands of some of the upper level teams so far. Look to them to have a much better game against the Reading Armed Centaurs.

Anybody can surprise anybody if they put enough effort in. But for a regular season game..

I don't think we'll win 52-0, though, that's for sure. Mainly because I think RRR is the team to beat in this league. I'm just hoping for a fair sim, that's all I hope for as an owner each week, is a sim consistent with how each team should be playing, not 8 fumbles out of the blue or 6 KRs for TDs, etc

Game is taking forever to sim, wow! Just wanna know the score so I can get back to my Friday
