I don't know if we have a Barry Sanders candidate. Sgt Hard Head does have a few long TD runs and he is more of a shifty back. But he doesn't sport Sanders 5+ ypc mark. Dusty is more of a downhill runner, isn't he?

Also, who is the Defensive player of the year? It's a lot harder to go by just stats, but I would vote for Jamarcus McFarland. 7 sacks as a DT, a safety (only one in the league right?), INT and a defensive TD.

Mcfarland is a beast.
Turner is more of a downhill runner. We read some threads early in the season that talked about people having good luck with power backs. Lately though we have been working on speed, ended up being a good combo.

Forget about Scott Adams as QB MVP. When you throw the ball 686 times its easy to rack up 3,000+ yards passing, yet he only had 20 TD's.
CHAMP MAXIMUS on the other hand had these numbers....
QB Rating 91
2,321 Passing yards on Only 234 Completions and only 375 Attempts
20 TD's
6 INT's
62% COmpletion
Sacked Only 2 times
The Clear Cut QB MVP is Mr. Maximus. Plus he is gonna bring home a CHAMPionship!

Yeah, I'll be interested to see how things shake out. Dusty Turner didn't put up his usual monster numbers in round one, so I'm not sure how that impacts him. But he's just about a shoe in for regular season MVP, if that's how we're doing it.
