Sadly, I realized that I had to pull back on the respective player "leashes". Can't risk too much before the playoffs. The only backups playing are my QB and FS. Besides that, the roster is remaining the same. I'm tweaking energy a bit, but for the most part everything is the same from last week.

I hate to talk about this prior to a big game, but:

speaking of Advanced Energy, how is this going for everyone? I've found that, in some positions, it is great... but in others where I make the same tweaks, it doesn't change a thing. It's really annoying me because I LIKE to get my backups in and get them some plays, some stats, and some XP.

Yeah, it really depends on the position and the player in that position. Some positions use more energy than others (My QB can get in twice as many plays as my WR and still finish with nearly the same energy level). And then it also depends on your starter's stamina. So if at DE your starter has 25 Sta and at DT your starter has 35 Sta, then your backup DE will get more playing time than your backup DT even if they have the exact same substitution levels.

I didnt see it as my GM being cocky at all, on paper it looked like the San Jose game would go in our favor and we lost by 3. With your game, it looked like the odds were against us and we won by 3. Shi* happens.....all we know is we come to play ball no matter who is lined up across from us.

Welcome to our world. Our team is built around rotating depth, but at some positions like FS, SS, WR (We have five 11+) and offensive line, the game simply will not allow a smooth rotation. I want a play cap to where once a player hits max XP, the backup is favored but it's not possible. Having my starting C hit 87 plays looks good for his stamina , but screws our nearly identical skillwise backup C out of 90% of max xp.

Have you looked out our depth?

Our backup FS, that I just created a few days ago, is level 5.
WE have level 8 OT and LB.
We have 5 level 9s.
We have a starter who is level 10 at CB and level 11 at FS.

We aren't exactly top of the line in depth.

To make it worse, I don't even think we are in the top 10 in average starter's level... which is why I keep trying to tell everyone we aren't really that good.

I'll compute the average for fun right now, Cherrie and edit it in.

Depth isn't as key as knowing how to use it. Having your starting LVL 14 DT in but at 80% energy is stupid if you have a LVL 12 with 100. Just knowing the basics rotationally is essential regardless of your depth. We have a custom percent for every position, but most of it is generic (all dlineman are the same, LB spots...etc)

The following is an average for the whole TEAM. Not starters. I'll possibly post that later.
Detroit = 13.8
Prague = 12.72
BHB = 13.48
Combat = 12.68
ATL = 12.28
ADD = 14.5 (Only 39 players compared to the others at 45ish)
WIS = 8.61
Lowell = 9.625 (50+ players)
ALB = 8.34
Express = 12.36
