Aside from playing the Super Bears in a few weeks, the Hippos have a pretty favorable schedule the rest of the way.

well luck you...

this is Perth's final four games.

Orlando 10-1-1 (2nd place)
Northbrook 10-2-0 (3rd place)
Grinnel 12-0-0 (1st place)
Portland 8-4-0 (5th place)

pretty sure we have the hardest remaining schedule. 4 of the top 5? To be the best have to beat the best amirite?

Fiji's final three games:

Orlando 11-1-1
Northbrook 10-3-0
Las Vegas 13-0 (for whatever sadistic reason, an 0-6 team from season 1 drew the Super Bears for a cross-conference game)

Unfortunately for us, you hold the head-to-head tie-breaker.

all I can say is that we were 4-2 last year and a 4 seed overall. I think it was Midway Monsters, Hobart Buckaroos and Portland Rain ahead of us.

Signed, Orlando's defensive coordinator. I love my guys [no homo], and they all are on the same page as far as what I want them to do from game to game in terms of tactics.

Well, if we're going to brag...

I just did the math, and we're giving up a ridiculous 2.78 yards per play to teams other than the Super Bears. And we're coming off an off-game, in which we gave up our longest play of the season (a 55-yard pass). Respect to you and yours, Bushido, but I'll take my guys any day of the week.

I guess we'll find out who's got the best D during the last game of the season..

Oh.. and it looks really bad to say "every team but the bears". They owned you.. no need to feel bad - they own everyone.

They did own us. However, there are 18 teams in the league--Orlando included--that have not had their stats inflated (deflated?) by them. Furthermore, we had to play them in Week 1, and suffice to say that it was a good way to get very rapidly acclimated to the Season 2 energy changes. Taking them out of the equation may or may not tell you more about the true strength of our defense, but it definitely produces some pretty crazy numbers, and I thought that was the exercise here.

In any event, despite the Super Bears shellacking us, we are still giving up almost a full half-yard less per play than you, and forcing a lot more turnovers. And we have already played all the top teams in our conference--you have two over-.500 teams left.
