The other thing you will hear associated with Harrell and Crabtree a lot is the word touchdown.

it doesn't matter... chris peterson is the architect of your offense, not dan hawkins. that's why when texas was considering replacing our OC (which has happened many times, believe it or not) he was one of the prime targets - but apparently he's in Boise for family reasons, so he's not goin anywhere. that's what i've heard anyway.

(this is also why CU has been dropkicked in the testicles in his first couple seasons)

We had to tear it all apart when he got here in year 1. (2-10). We finished a respectable 6-6 (7 losses counting loss in bowl game) with our big time win over OU.. you can tell things are on the way up, no doubt.

its true that coach pete is the freakin wizard behind the offense, but up until this last season or two he hasnt really done any of the recruiting. hawkins just gets freakin recruits that want to do exactly what he wants....as far as coach pete and staying in boise goes, he is definately there for family reasons. his son has some health problems, and one of the hospitals in town specializes in that field of medicine along with others. plus its just about one of the best places in the country to live and have a family (yes i am a little biased. of course i grew up in boise, but even magazines agree with me).
