Oh ya, no I love what Coach Dodge is doing with the team. I think even if things don't turn around we will be a better team for it. He is really trying to make the team a bunch of class act guys with good chemistry. He knows that probably none of them will play in the pros and he's doing and excellent job of teaching them more than just playing football in my opinion.

I have fond memories of Texas football. I worked out in West Texas for a few years. Got stuck in this one horse town called Sweetwater. I was amazed at the people that showed up for the games and the facilities were incredible.

With the amount of talent that Texas develops every year, North Texas should be able to wrangle in a few pro prospects. Especially skill position players.

I'll tell you one game I will not pay money to watch. Basketball. My cousin has floor seats for the Hornets. 350 bucks a seat per game to watch that crap. I have never been more Unimpressed in my life.

I did get to pretend to be a big money millionaire player, chatting it up with some lovely ladies sitting behind us.

problem is, Texas and OU steal away the vast majority of good Texas players... And with the Big 12 south doing so well last year (not counting bowl games) I imagine that it will be just as hard to get good players. Luckily we are getting some people from South Lake Carroll (was like 4 time state champs under Coach Dodge) so should have some new blood in our team
