Greenwood beats Steel City 30-27 to hold on to the top spot in the conference. Gwitt Seth had 9 tackles and 2 KR for touchdowns.

Maybe u should change that title to Grenwood Alley Cats "SOMEHOW" wins again. Was a craking game though, those kick off returns and those turnovers won it for u. last time I throw to my HB!!!!

You scored more points against us than anybody else has this season, we were damn lucky to walk out with a win.

Well, I will explain to you how we won. First off, if you want to look at our total offensive yards being low, well common sense would tell you that when you have 2 kick off returns for touchdowns and an interception return for a 72 yard return that is going to take away from 3 offensive possessions. What that does, is gives your defensive line and LB's a lot of rest...wich is extremely important for you because you don't have great depth. The next thing that it does is put our defense right back on the field in those 3 circumstances.

Why did we return 2 kicks on you? Well, we have 2 specific return specialists and a ridiculous amount of team depth wich allows us to have an extremely talented Kick Off Return team. You on the other hand have no team depth, because all of the players on your team you created. Therefor you were completely overmatched on special teams, wich is why you gave up 2 touchdowns in that department.

Granted that game could go either way and if we our teams played 10 games I think that we'd probably both win 5 games each. But, to infer that we didn't deserve the win is, not correct.

Hmmm....I was thinking more like 9-1 in favor of the A-Cats...the '1' coming from when Steel City won the first meeting last year.

Ahhh nothing like humility and modesty in public forums!

The West Country Wyverns are excited for an opportunity to take on Greenwood. We've made some strides and put up good numbers against some lesser teams. I'm looking forward to see what kind of measuring stick the Cats can provide and come playoff time, we'll know where we stand.

As I was looking through your roster, and yes the Wyverns have made really good strides. That's a pretty damn good team you guys are fielding right now...it will be a very close game regardless of the situation.

We've been fortunate to have some very dedicated staff and players. I think that will translate well for us this season and into the next. I can't say enough about the boys, but I'm looking forward to seeing how we can do against the Cats.

Win or lose, we will be breaking down film to see what we can do better.

Tough win for us today. How the Wyverns have lost 7 games is beyond me. Good team!
