Warrior General Games

I decided to handle the arduous task of compiling the Season 8 SEA AA4 Garuda All-Conference Team, or SEAAA4GACT for short.

Statistics were the 1st thing taken into consideration. At positions where stats were too close, I took into consideration the following: competition, did the majority of the stats come in a small amount of games, other more minor stats, etc. Below each selection I've tried to give some reasoning behind the pick.

I believe this All-Conference team to have been selected in the most fair and just manner that one man can possibly accomplish. So, enjoy the Garuda All-Conference Team.

Oh, and Naga, do your own damn team. This took TOO much time.

Garuda All-Conference Team

QB1: El Danimal, Hellfighters (4582.5 yds, 53 TDs passing; leads conference in both categories)
-Among featured passers, had the highest ypa in Garuda (7.2)

QB2: Mooseknuckle Chuck, Bucks (3948.5 yds, 35 TDs passing; 2nd and tied for 2nd respectively in Garuda)
-Among passers with 200+ attempts, 3rd best comp. % (62.1). Led Garuda in 1st downs (230)

HB1: Mykel d'Gadget, Shanghai Pirates (3942 yds, 31 TDs rushing; led Garuda in rushing)
-Led Garuda in ypc (7.2) and also in carries (547).

HB2: Marcus Timothy Allen, Veterans (2601.5 yds, 41 TDs rushing; 2nd in rush yards, 1st in rush TDs)
-5.7 ypc, which ranks 5th among HBs with at least 100 carries. 459 carries ranks 2nd in Garuda.

HB3: Thunder Blackhawk, Orangutans (2433 yds, 29 TDs rushing; 3rd in Garuda rush yards, 7th in rush TDs)
-Ranked 7th in Garuda for carries (368), 2nd best ypc (6.6).

FB1: Trent Spackmeister, Chimaeras (352.5 yds, 4 TDs rushing; lead Garuda FBs in rushing yds, 2nd in TDs)
-Nobody uses FBs outside of blocking anymore. He's the best of the bunch, stat-wise.

WR1: Duma Elin, Bucks (94 rec, 1231 yds, 10 TDs receiving)
-Garuda rankings for WR: 3rd in receptions, 1st in yards, tied for 3rd in TDs)

WR2: Speed Merchant, Fightin' Farmers (61 rec, 1170.5 yds, 11 TDs receiving)
-19.2 ypc is 2nd in Garuda. 2nd among WRs in yards, tied for 2nd in TDs

WR3: Solomon Durance, Hitmen (86 rec, 1113.5 yds, 9 TDs)
-Garuda rankings for WR: 3rd in rec, 3rd in yards, tied for 4th in TDs

TE1: Sticky Hands the TE, Bucks (178 rec, 2099 yds, 19 TDs)
-though thrown to more than anyone in history, he lead ALL receivers in all 3 categories

TE2: Shoney BigBoy, Regional Managers (47 rec, 649 yds, 7 TDs)
-Garuda TE rankings: 3rd in rec, 2nd in yards and TDs

*special note for O-linemen* since pancakes are the only tracked o-line stat by GLB, this is the primary factor in selections. Other things considered are: level, scouting bars, team's offensive success. This one was tough so back off!

OT1: Bigfat Fatso, Orangutans (222 pancakes)
-Led Garuda OTs in pancakes

OT2: Knuckle Head, Chimaeras (216 pancakes)
-2nd among Garuda OTs in pancakes

OT3: Billie Joe Jefferson, Regional Managers (188 pancakes)
-3rd among Garuda OTs in pancakes. A dominating player that deserves aknowledgement.

OG1: Big,Big,Big Meat, Captains (352 pancakes)
-Lead Garuda in pancakes overall. At level 39, dominant for his level.

OG2: Stewie Pushova, Chimaeras (266 pancakes)
-2nd in pancakes among Garuda OGs

C1: Peter Griffinn, Hellfighters (198 pancakes)
-Led Garuda centers in cakes. Both Hellfighters centers went 1 and 2 at the position, but Griffinn is the better of them


DE1: Dee Brakes, Beatdown (72 tkls, 51 hurries, 34 sacks, 4 FFs)
-Led Garuda DEs in hurries, led all of Garuda in sacks.

DE2: Tank Freeny, Chimaeras (56 tkls, 32 hurries, 25 sacks, 10 FFs)
-Garuda rankings: 4th among DEs in hurries, 2nd in sacks (3rd overall), tied for 3rd in Garuda in FFs.

DE3: Stanley "The Predator" McClover, Hitmen (37 tkls, 25 hurries, 22 sacks, 6 FFs)
-3rd among DEs in sacks (4th overall). Had big games against tough teams.

DT1: TIP Harris, Beatdown (103 tkls, 69 hurries, 33 sacks, 8 FFs)
-Led Garuda in hurries. Let Garuda DTs in sacks (2nd overall).

DT2: A Small Asian Child, Orangutans (66 tkls, 52 hurries, 19 sacks)
-2nd in Garuda overall in hurries; 5th in sacks (2nd among DTs).

DT3: Blake Stonewall, Fightin' Farmers (70 tkls, 25 hurries, 15 sacks, 9 FFs)
-3rd among Garuda DTs in sacks, 4th in hurries.

LB1: Willy Dozer, Phooeys (67 tkls/12 missed, 28 hurries, 17 sacks, 4 PDs, 2 INTs)
-Led Garuda LBs in sacks.

LB2: Reginald Blacky, Davao City Pirates (100 tkls/13 missed, 8 hurries, 1 sack, 44 PDs, 6 INTs, 7 FFs)
-Garuda LB rank: 1st in PDs and INTs, 5th in FFs

LB3: Woody (Destroyer) Franklin, Fightin' Farmers (118 tkls/11 missed, 6 hurries, 4 sacks, 17 PDs, 3 INTs, 14 FFs)
-Led Garuda in FFs, 10th Garuda LB in tackles.

-Best statistical season for a Garuda FS overall. The FFs and 2 less missed tackles edge out Washington here.

FS2: Niko Washington, Monsoon (69 tkls/7 missed, 28 PDs, 4 INTs, 3 pick6s)
-Tied for 1st Garuda FS in INTs.

SS1: Rod Burrier, Hellfighters (91 tkls/12 missed, 5 hurries, 53 PDs, 4 INTs, 1 FR)
-Hands down the best statistical season for a Garuda SS. Led SSs in PDs and INTs.

SS2: Eddie McCheese, Phooeys (87 tkls/12 missed, 18 PDs, 1 INT, 5 FFs, 1 FR for TD)
-This one was HARD to decide. The low tackle-to-miss ratio combined with being 2nd among SSs in FFs and tied for 3rd in INTs.

K: Henry Bootsnuggin, Davao City Pirates (33/34 FGs, 9/9 from 50+, 71/72 XPs)
-Led Garuda in FG% and was 6th in XP%. His 16/17 from 40+, 9/9 from 50+ is tops in the conference.

P: Mister Longshanks, Fightin' Farmers (86 punts, 3636 yds, 42.3 yard average)
-6th in amount of punts, 2nd in punt average. #1 had 57 less punts.

KR: Jay Olsen, Chimaeras (58 returns, 1892.5 yds, 32.6 return average, 2 TDs)
-Of Garuda KRs with over 1000 kick return yards, Olsen ranks 3rd in average, 1st in return TDs, and 3rd in yards

PR: chuck grotton, Regional Managers (66 returns, 1867 yards, 28.3 return average, 13 TDs)
-Ranks 1st in Garuda punt return TDs, 3rd in yards, 1st in average (of players with over 1000 punt return yards).

I'd have to put Blackhawk at #1 HB, you guys are a grind it out, running team and everyone knew it yet they still couldn't stop Blackhawk. The same can't be said for the Pirates and Veterans.

I based this more on statistics than impact on a team or the conference. The other 2 HBs have ape-shit seasons. They did have a ton of carries, but Mykel d'Gadget in particular was stellar. His 7.2 ypc was best in the conference.
