Thanks for the vote of confidence. You guys have a great team and I cannot understand how it was that far apart after we have played so close in the past. You will be the favorites for the Lions next season. Wow and neither one of us ran the slam that often. Maybe there is some hope??? NAH! I do appreciate that both our teams tried to stay in the spirit of the game and enjoy the sim without working the known exploit.
Personally, like it was stated above if it happens to any team don't be suprised. I agree with that. My team won't do that to win. We just try and game plan for each game and enjoy what it is-------a game!
On a another note, how are you sure that we move up? My understanding was there are 2 AAA divisions and 2 teams from each division move up to pro and then 4 teams move back down to AAA from pro. Last year I thought was different because of CPU owned teams.

That game was alot closer than the score represents.
Without those two big plays that game could have easily gone the other way.

Here's the thing. The teams with a power back and a receiving tight end simply have the upper hand should they choose to play it. A defense can gameplan to consistently stop the Strong i slam with a decent chance of success. If however that team also has a receiving TE, you cannot ignore that threat, or you will lose that way too.
In other words, you have to commit to one or the other and hope you guessed right. If not, you will lose.
Them's the breaks, sonny.

Sounds like this GP took about 5 minutes.
What happen to Limas? Oh 2 games 2 catches for 3.5 yards ROFL
(Best WR my ass)
But a win is a win I guess whatever you have to do it to beat us. Id be afraid of the Nigerians and it is obvious you were by your game plan. I would keep our offense off the field as well.
I could have easily done the same crap with Hanif since he is the best back in the league (IMAGINE HOW BORING OF A GAME IT WOULD HAVE BEEN). But I consider my team having class as well as our coordinators.
Sorry let the truth be spoken and we are not bitter just thought you guys were different.
I know your gonna anwer " Its about the WIN BABY" - Yea its about the win!! HAHA
GL in PRO. We are right behind you since we kept everyone for season 9.
I have no need to respond at ALL since the TRUTH is the TRUTH.
You, my friend, are a hypocrite. You passed some, but every one of your runs were either slams or strong I OT. We ran pitches, OT, and slams...We mixed it up. We passed when needed. Unfortunately for you, you couldn't stop our run game, so we had no need to pass. If you stopped our run, our passing game would have came into play. Don't cry...you beat us in the regular season, and we beat you today. Deal with it and quit crying like nfratami.

I've explained this before in the other thread but I'll do it again....actively attacking what we saw was an obvious weakness in your defense is NOT an exploit despite what you might think. I didn't just sit down and think, we'll just run it inside every time and win the game...I watched a lot of gamefilm and analyzed what other teams were able to be effective doing to decide what we would do. I don't believe we ran a single Strong I Slam which is considered the "exploit play" and while we ran it inside a lot...it would be idiotic for us to not use our best running back on the runs he performs best in against the defenses we feel he'll be most successful against.
Your DC likely needs to learn that the Cover 2 is NOT a good run defense...the fact that you guys run that all the time made it easy to decide where the best way to attack your defense was. Adding in that you don't blitz much at all or if you do it's a weak side shift to blitz makes it even MORE wide open to the run. We would have done the same thing if you had a terrible defense against the pass but luckily for us your run defenses were pretty weak and so we attacked it...it's called gameplanning and attacking opponents weaknesses. He didn't even get touched a lot of plays until 4-5 yards past the line of scrimmage....he didn't even have to break many tackles with just 13 on 49 carries (about 1 every 3-4 carries).
The gameplan I put in called for a few more pitches than it actually ended up running because those pitches to our speed back on the strong side were wide open as well but the sim does what it does sometimes and it just didn't call all that many...not our fault there but we could have ran on you with either all day long.

I think you guys are going up regardless, due to the number of teams that are coming down.. You have a slew of CPU teams, most of which did not finish in the bottom two. Plus, Niger and the last place Lion Pro team are coming back down. I counted 7 teams dropping out of Pro.
Our game was essentially a Pro play-in, with our regular season records and would-be playoff victories. Unless they change the way regulations are done this offseason, you guys have nothing to worry about, although I am sure you dont want to back into Pro and will play to win a championship. Pangani may have to win your matchup to assure themselves of Pro, but you guys are a done deal. Again, congrats.
Edit: Just looked again and the Cape Verde Lion team just sold back after their playoff loss. That makes 8; the Peckerwoods are probably most likely moving up as well.

I'm gonna back blevstone up on this one.
1. In two straight games (Tusken and MaRAWK!!o) all the did was run the ball. Is it insane that a back gets 60 carries? Yes. Had it happened more than once this season? Yes. You missed it in your game planning.
2. In addition, in neither of those games listed above (tusken adn MaRAWK!!) was the HB slam the featured running play. It was all single back (if I remember correctly).
I haven't looked at your game at all, but the second time we played the Toro's they lit us up through the air. So I'm not mad at 'em. They beat us both ways: country and western.

Good game to you guys as well, a turnover deep in your territory seemed to shift the game.
