That's pretty much what I said to Tallahassee after they told us we couldn't run on them. Personally, I'm not embarrassed about losing to a team with a higher OVR by 2 points. I'm actually pretty happy about it, I don't think Mayhem was ready to advance. We went 3/3 against higher OVR teams by gameplanning against their run defense weaknesses (and you had the fewest, by a mile), but I suspect our personnel isn't up to AA4 par.

By your logic everyone in GLB has run defense weaknesses since noone can stop power backs.

Are you kidding me? You just did. We averaged 3.7 yards on the ground against you. That's nothing special.

Dude. You don't understand how it works. I don't set the AI for 80 rushes. If rushing had worked, we would have rushed more. It didn't work, so we ended up in more 2nd/3rd and long situations, throwing, and had fewer, shorter possessions, hence, less runs.

We had a low run count because you stopped our run, not the other way around.

Besideswhich, a higher run total usually brings averages down, not up. But congratulations on getting it exactly backwards.

Sorry I couldn't get here earlier. I would first like to congratulate Project on a great season, and I say that without even considering the fact that this was your first year in A7. Even though yall's tactics were questioned during the regular season, you were just playing the game. It was a tough battle today, but we were just the better team. I wouldn't go as far to say that you have escaped us for a season though. This massive reconstruction that Bort is talking about could very well put us in the same league again next season.

And to redwards I just had to pull this back up:

I didn't run singleback slam one time today

But, seriously, I almost had my fingers crossed that we'd lose today. I really hope we don't end up in AA4, because I don't think we're ready. Mayhem is a GREAT team, but this is only our third season (my second), and I think we need a little more time.
