The top seeds held serve (which in this year's GLB playoffs is pretty rare - many big upsets) and now setup a great set of 2nd round games.

#4 Bristol at #1 SF
Man this is going to be one great game to watch. Bristol handed SF it's only loss of the season 41-40. Since then SF has rattled off 8 straight wins but Bristol comes in sporting a 10 game winning streak. Both teams can score and score quickly as there are numerous weapons on both offenses. This one will boil down to whose defense plays better and can force a couple of turnovers. All in all I think SF's defense is a bit deeper and balanced and will make the 1 or 2 plays needed to make the difference in the game. I would not be surprised if this game comes down to the final drive - last team with the ball wins. I can't bet against my boys here but clearly will not be surprised if Bristol pulls this one out.

SF 45
Bristol 42

#3 NY at #2 Megatropolis
NY has won 8 in a row with their last loss coming to Mega 27-24. The difference in that game was 2 int's throw by NY. NY was able to "contain" the Mega running game holding them to under 300 yards in total rushing yards. Mega comes off a 80-48 win over Las Vegas in which they gave up over 500 yards passing which is a bit alarming. NY has a bit better depth and balance than Mega and I think the NY passing game will out pace the Mega running offense in this one. NY advances to the conf final.

NY 38
Megatropolis 27

Who do you guys got?

I will write up my thoughts a bit later.

We've quietly sat back and done our thing the past few seasons, nice to get some recognition. I think it helps having several agents that have been with the team since it was formed. We've been able to learn our strengths/weakness having the same core players every season.

Good luck Demons, I'm sure it will be another close one.

Hate playing New York.

Last game was too close

Hope someone can step it up again!

Should be a good fight no doubt!
