I will have to watch the gametape on how you neutralized the poo .... did you run the SI Half Back Slam? or the SI / NI Off Tackle? Or did you use a balanced running back attack - such as using 2 HB and possibly a FB - if so, I think I will try that sometime.
They didn't really neutralize him. They just took away everything else.
Now that we've played CY, I can freely say that
1) You can't really neutralize their leading defender, he's the leading defender for a reason and will get to the ball wherever you try to put it.
2) While I didn't base our gameplan on poo face, I did work to eliminate certain plays where he seemed to make an overstated impact. Mainly the normal I slam right (he makes nearly every tackle, thus too high of a risk), and TE passes without a HB route to draw him off (not a huge deal since everybody knows we don't pass much)
