He has signed a contract... Your right the team is not going to win this year but I still have put money into his EQ and gave him a signing bonus....

yeah, and you've obviously paid no attention to the O-line and the amount of money you've put in to him is so minimal that it is ridiculous. I'll play out the contract since you're so hung up on keeping him. Building is supposed to be about building a team that will compete for longer than one season but maybe I'm wrong. Could you at least reinstate my forum access so I can set tactics?

Dude, its the offseason. You know, the time where lots of players become available and sign with teams. Your way is a pretty shitty way of running a team. Its not a good thing to have agents on your team who are unhappy. He signed a contract, so you can certainly keep him if you want, but losing a player after the season shouldn't derail your building process. From a brief glance, I'm not really sure why he thinks his build sucks but thats not really the point.

Part of building a successful team is building good relationships with the agents you come into contact with. Good luck though. I'm sure you two can come to some sort of agreement. Good luck to you both

If i recall correctly i remember Dan saying he would offer a trade and the owners counter was "It had better be a good one." why the snide remark? jesus you would think Salt Lake had a shot at the playoffs or something and this guy was peyton manning. Either release him or accept a fair trade pretty simple to me... Dan's a good owner and have personally seen him make a trade for the agent simply because it was the right thing to do, regardless if it benefited his team.
