Minimum requirements for a level 50 should be 68 agility and 49 speed. I'd prefer, with VAs starting to go toward quick, a 75 agility, 55 speed build. Just get to 68/48, and then keep training agi/spd IMO, it is really the best remaining option once vis/conf are capped as well.

who bothers capping confidence?

I think confidence plays a pretty major role in all of GLB. I've lost enough games after a complete momentum shift from a big play to stop discounting it at any position.

I believe even if YOU don't give up the play, your in-game morale drops if the team does.

I believe that in game morale is a direct modifier to basically every roll, as well, but not your actual stats. Pass quality, catch roll, hold block, read a cut, deflect a pass, get/don't get faked, attempt your coffin corner, kick distance, make tackle, break tackle, force fumble, hold on to the ball, intercept, etc., etc., etc.

So yeah, opinion, opinion, opinion. But based on my opinions, I'd cap confidence if your player takes say.. 2/3 of your teams' snaps or more.

That's who

I'm just trying to grasp what is so great about my 34 OT that he didn't give up a sack all year this year, despite having only 20-ish speed (I've been training it all season, no SP's invested)

He does have Agi and Blocking to the 3rd cap, and vision and confidence soft-capped. I keep hearing people say you need speed as a pass-blocking OT, but I'm just not seeing it.

Well, there's usually more than one way to skin a cat. I bet your high blocking, agility, and vision are getting your guy where he needs to be to make the block. Some guys use speed to get to the block instead.

Really, when your team's average score is 103.5 - 4.7, you're in a cupcake league.
