I know I've heard it praised quite a bit and I'm working on it myself but I was just wondering how good is it really? Anyone with a high level of Line General want to post their experiences/beliefs about it here? I'd really appreciate it.

Also, what about the Natural Leader VA? It increases the chance for LG to fire but is it worth getting it to 15?

It's a small sample size, but my lvl 38 C is playing much better than his teammate who is 10 levels higher. Our PAs are virtually the same, but I have 7 LG and 10 NL, he only has 4 LG and no NL. He also has a lot more other SAs than I do.

mho, because this is a rather intangible benefit that is spread across the whole oline, it is very difficult to measure. you're not going to see the benefit just from looking at your C. if anything you are sacrificing his individual skills to help the rest of the line. but i think it is very important for a C and worthy of some attention. it would tend to contribute to your team being strong in the 4th quarter, things like that. Our other C has 7, I have mine at 5 and will bring up to 6 soon, and with 15 in natural leader, and we do seem to be a strong finishing team most of the time, but I have no idea how the compares to other Cs or the general skills on defenses we face. depth, stamina, confidence, other VAs all go into it, so it is really impossible to tell. But since the center is often working in small space and double teaming with the Gs, you are able to sacrifice some of his individual ability for the good of the line, and I think it is important for all Cs to work on, and LG AEQ is probably the best one you can get as a C.

That doesn't make sense. General benefits the rest of the line, not your player. If you're 10 levels lower and you've spent points on General, your core build would be way behind the other C (unless he built poorly).

I used to be a big believer in the Generals, but I'm not so sure anymore. I think they are more effective at low levels than high levels since most players have enough stamina/confidence once they reach the 40s.

Lets just say all my olines finish their games with 80+ energy everytime. I could probably play all my starters without any back-ups if I wanted to.

my C have 12 in LG and 10 in NL

I disagree. I've been investing in DLG on my NT all season (literally, the only place I put points into), and his energy usage has plumetted, as has the rest of the line. Plus, descriptions say that they make the entire unit better. Entire unit includes the general.
