That is because amazingly enough the Pirates put up 406 points against the Stallions.. Only 255 of those points actually count I believe.
406-255 = 151
1579 + 151 = 1730
That is why there is a difference in points. But I am almost positive the max points you can have count towards the tie breaker is 255 per game.
You would be wrong there good sir. The score only goes up to 255, but every point does count.
