Not sure how we are above the Sting in the rankings, but I'm hoping it holds true next game. If the Frogs have to lose one, I'd rather do it here and get the wins in the post-season, to be honest. Either way, it should be fun.

I'll be watching the Hell Valley/Phnom Penh game, too, and keeping an eye on who is filling the #7/#8 seed in Naga for the 1st round playoff game.

you defeated an undefeated team, which is why I'm sure you passed up Sumatra.

The old saying of cream always rises to the top is true , let's look back. Statistical based rankings continue to get better with the more data you collect, IMO, Teams not as polished, playing weak teams had inflated stats early on. While there are some of the stronger teams in the list.

Week One For Example

Week Fourteen! Maintained Top 10 Positions

1. Surabaya Poison Dart Frogs (204.5 Points)
2. Sumatra Sting (201.0 Points)
3. Komodo Dragons (199.0 Points)

Komodo has slowly been losing points over the last few weeks and this is first time you guys have dropped below 200. Power Rankings do indicate a coin toss for these three teams.

The 4th ranked team only has 176.0 points, so it's not even close. But the stronger teams have either maintained their positions or rose even higher.

These are rankings are no way disrespecting the Sting or the Dragons and as the season has progressed, the rankings have held true to the top teams.

The Frogs know that our next game will be the toughest and we've had it circled on the schedule, since last season we fell short, we didn't think we'd get another shot at them until promotion, but because of the first round playoff losses by both of us, it gives us the opportunity to clash again for regular season supremacy.

I got to close this post. We're hopping on the plane to fly to Sumatra and plan our invasion of Sting Stadium!

I'm actually amazed that you wrote all that up, as I understand it a bit more now, but I wouldn't mind if we were ranked #32. I was making fun of all the whiners in all the other threads. Thanks again for writing all this up every couple of days.

and a for sure loss next week, probably dropping you down to the 8th seed in naga.
