Another week passes and the front runners from both conferences remain undefeated. One big upset in Alpha, a couple of key games muddy the playoff waters in Zeta and Wilson to the third power goes a second week in a row without fumbling.

Game of the Week & Alpha Upset Special
Ingolstadt Hat Tossers (5-7) at Stockholm Black Death (8-4) 43-34

In a rematch of last season's BBB#1 Alpha's conference championship the visiting Hat Tossers pulled off the upset with some amazing defensive plays late in the game in a shootout at the Kyrkogården in front of 32,580 dejected fans. Both teams came out slinging the ball with Ingolstadt scoring on their first drive when Tossers QB Luke Ricotta hit a fade pass to TE Robert Plummer for a 5 yard touchdown. Stockholm quickly answered with two scoring drives on their first two possessions as bruising Black Death HB Jeremy Blitz ran over defenders into the endzone three times by the half. Ingolstadt came into the second half trailing by two and after a great defensive stand on the first Stockholm possession had the first of 5 second half lead changes when their run game finally awoke. Stockholm managed to answer Ingolstadt after each score until Black Death QB Big Throwing Dog came out chucking it on 1st and 10 with 6:32 in the game and was picked off by Tossers FS Deuce Taylor who returned it to the house for his 3rd defensive touchdown of the season. The Tossers picked off the other Stockholm QB Jim Dakota to seal the deal.

Zeta Game of the Week
Bavarian Motor Works (9-3) at Regensburg Steel Rain (7-5) 27-19

BMW drove the bus out of the Donner-Kuppel quickly as Steel Rain fans rained beer cups at the visiting team after the Motor Works beat the home team just minutes from the birthplace of Johannes Kepler. The first quarter was a defensive battle with each team parrying the thrusts of the opposition and each team's kicker was able to nail a field goal but halfway through the second quarter Bavaria struck when QB Crazy "Cooter" Davenport hit TE B-rad G Malibu on a quick post for the game's first touchdown. Both teams lit the scoreboard up in the second half after a sedate start but Cooter's second TD opened up a gap that was far too large for Regensburg to overcome. Despite winning the turnover battle and outsacking Bavaria 4-1, the Steel Rain simply couldn't stop the passing attack and lost by virtue of that attack.
