Thats my hangup with Memphis. They have been playing extremely well but they are due to lose. Given that they are up against the best teams in the country and its one and done I couldnt rest my bracket on that chance. Same with Pitt and UConn, Blair or Thabeet get into foul trouble and both teams are in major trouble.

Too bad about Temple. Christmas is a legit player.

It was a rough game to watch as a Temple fan. They have played better than that for most of the season, any time Christmas has over half the points the Owls generally lose. IMO they should have taken the ball inside more and tried to force Pendergraph into foul trouble earlier which would have benefited the Owls greatly. Also hurt that Juan Fernandez(the Argentinian national player) got 2 fouls in his first few minutes on the floor which kept him off the floor for the rest of the game since he is generally one of the sparks that gets Temple going(normally gets 20+ minutes a game and only had like 5 minutes today). Oh well, theres always next year and I think they will do better without Christmas controlling the offense. I know he was damn good while there but even the 76ers couldnt survive with Iverson being the majority of the offense.
