Not a great week for good games in the East

4 Stars (A Must Watch)
Bristol Bullets vs. Bortsville Mystery Nerf
#4 Bortsville travels to Bristol this week to play the #7 Bullets. Bristol has won 4 in a row and Bortsville is on a 3 game winning streak. This game features some of the finest HB's in the East and they will definitely get their share of touches. This will be a close game but in the end I think the Bristol offense is a bit more balanced and will pull off the minor upset here which will shake up the East seeding big time.

3 Stars (You could do a lot worse)
Las Vegas Wildcats vs. Anonymous Assassins
Interesting match up here between the #5 and #6 seeds. The Wildcats have won 5 in a row while the Assassins come in on a 3 game streak - so something will have to give. LV can score but man they play some high scoring games - on the flip side the Assassins can put up points also and in the end I like their defense to be a bit better here.

2 Stars (If there is nothing else on then maybe...)
Trinsic Purple Dragons vs. Colonial Zoners
This game has huge playoff implications as the #8 and #9 seed battle it out. This should be a pretty close game but in the end I think that Colonial's depth and experience (higher leveled players) will be the difference in this one.

Fort Worth Warriors vs. New York Warriors
A battle of Warriors here - this one gets ugly and fast

Tri-Cities Fever vs. French Lick Dirty Whorns
Tri-Cities gets a bye week here as they try and inch closer to that 8th playoff spot.
My pick: Tri-Cities

Richmond Retros vs. Kentucky Jaguars
The Retos get a rare victory over that feared CPU
My Pick: Richmond

Megatropolis Tigers vs. Montgomery Mustache Rides
Looks like the Seattle Reign have packed up and moved to Montgomery to become the Mustache Rides - doesn't matter where they play - Megatropolis is pissed after their loss to SF and they will win and win big here

B.C. Assassins vs. San Francisco Demons
Oh my Demons how proud I am of them after the win over Megatropolis - our reward the BC Assassins - can you say stat padding!

With as weak as the competition in this game has been over the last probably 5 Seasons, I really just don't get how so many teams with 45+ level players managed to remain in A for so long.

I'm seriously confused, not trying to talk smack...

How did some of you manage this?

Check the levels of the leagues above. There is a glut of 50+ from this league up in this line to USA PRO. Thank Bort and recruiting for that.

Another 8-0 week - although this week was fairly easy with the exception of the top 2 games.

I never would have guessed that we'd get Bortsville to lose 7 fumbles - more than half their season total. Take those away & it'd been a helluva lot closer than it turned out to be. Good luck the rest of the way, nerfs

Agreed. That was a bit odd.

The Trinsic game could have had wildly different results. We made the mistakes that Colonial didn't. Some things you just can't control.

And we would have been much happier had you won that game, but thanks for letting us know they can be beaten just like last season Colonial, Your our saving grace this year, our stepping stone to the playoffs if you will. So needless to say, I look forward to this matchup. (Just some fun banter, no need for hurt feelings)

tri-cities - it'll be a good matchup

tri-cities, hate to burst your bubble, but you can beat us and we still might make the playoffs over you (both teams go 2-1 from here out), because chances are we will win our last game and we are definitely winning this week

if we beat you, no chance of you making the playoffs

If we beat you, we get the tiebreaker for the 8th seed. So like I said before, your in our way and we plan on making this one count.

if we both go 2-1 (good chance), I get it because I'm 7-6 right now and you're 6-7

and thats saying i lose to you... if we beat you, good chance we'll go 3-0 the next 3

so you need to not only beat us, but hope forth worth somehow pulls one out against us the last game of the season (doubtful)

Well I had a big as explanation on how it was going to work, but I looked at your schedule again, and well shit, we pretty much have to beat the remaining 3 teams on our schedule to beat you out, cuz your proly gonna win 2 of those games at least even if you get beat by us, you'll still sneak in. Well crap!!! So I guess its just a rivalry game for braggin rights. And consider this our last season as rivals. Rebuilding the team after this season. Good luck to you guys
