Please do not take any offense to some of the 'critical statements' made in these reviews, it is 'crunch time' and nearing the playoffs, so i've taken the direction of a deep analysis of some games.

Balanced Game of the Week
Port Royal Predators @ Atlantis Armageddon
Port Royal has a lot to answer for today, they are the reigning champions of OA4 but that claim is rapidly running thing. They have underachieved drastically and they are one of those teams that may only find themselves in the playoffs because of the teams below them being that much worse. Stats mean very little in the scheme of things but they do show one thing, the 'problem area' for these two teams, Atlantis and Port Royal, the problem area exists in their entirety. Atlantis while performing slightly better statistically is at the point of battling for a #7 seed in the playoffs. They could climb a little higher but they have to seriously step up and earn it. Both of these teams have a lot to prove if they're going to contend further into the season, this is an extremely balanced game and for the 'lower echelon playoff contenders' an extremely important one.

Underrated Underdog Game of the Week
Samoa Pirahna Monkeys @ Cook Island Pirates
The Monkeys are the #1 team in the Alpha conference could easily have been picked as the powerhouse game of the week but the emphasis here I want to make, is not on them, because we know what SPM i about, we know they're for real, and no one is doubting their ability to win, they have a solid team with a great offense and great defense. But, CIP is on the rocks and about to fall off. They are holding on as tightly as they can, they're a good team with good staff and players but they have got to make a statement here today. CIP has struggled on defense and there achilles heel all season, like VRR they have a solid return team, their Punt Return team has been solid this season and this may be the area they need to make their statement. But fact of the matter is, if they're going to beat SPM, their defense has got to step up the plate and prove they can contend.

Powerhouse Game of the of the Week
Guam Gorillas @ Vanuatu Reef Raiders
Guam, in this game, is going to play the role of the powerhouse, while they may not be 'glaring' in the stat books, that 8-2 record has been games won against high level competitors proving they're up for the challenge. They have underachieved on Offense but their defense has really allowed them to pull through today. There offense today however, needs to step it up to get the job done. VRR may very well be the best 'middle of the road' team in the league. They have been on a winning streak and they have something no one else does, the #1 Kick Return Team. An area where they know how to score points to turn the tide in games. VRR has stood up to some strong competitors and fallen short in some games, today, while they might be considered to be 'overpowered' they're looking to prove everyone wrong.

Middle of the Road Game of the Week
Williamsport Soul Reavers @ Easter Island Moai
Technically this is not a 'middle of the road game' with WSR in it, but, EIM can be classified as one and that is the emphasis on this analysis. Everyone wants to know whether or not WSR is for real, they have faced 2 truly valid teams, Guam & Sumatra, they bled to the bone against Sumatra to come out with a win and lost a heartbreaker against Guam. This is the 2nd part of a very tough schedule, they have done extremely well on both sides of the ball but are finding themselves struggling on special teams, they are going to have to put it all together today, because just because EIM has more losses doesn't mean that WSR can't lose. EIM is a very good team with a lot of talent that has undergone some bad luck this season against very good teams. While they are drastically underachieving on offense, they have a solid defense, but that D won't be enough today. They have to step up on offense too. Even if the Defense stops WSR from scoring the offense has to make good on opportunities as well, they could make a very strong statement heading to the playoffs with a win over a tough WSR team!

Oceania AA2 Alpha 'Blitzorade' Game of the Week
Bay City Bohica @ West Canaan Coyotes
9-1 Bay City enters this game with the #2 Offense & #3 Defense in the league, and a serious shot at the #1 spot in Alpha. But this week may be one of their toughest remaining challenges against WCC. They have got to be able to score offensive because they'll be facing the #1 Defense in the league. WCC enters this game with the best Defense and #4 Offense, they can get it done everywhere on the field but they also understand that defense wins championships. This game is going to come down to which offense plays the best among great defenses. If you Miss it, it's Your Loss!

Oceania AA2 Zeta 'Tostito Goal' Game of the Week
Perth Cyclones @ Melbourne Gators
In terms of statistical rankings Perth is about middle of the road, but in terms of talent they're up there as one of the best. Perth has had a solid season with just 3 losses to legit teams. Perth is led by Quarterback Twice Nightly, who is going to be looking to keep their #6 Passing Offense effective and in winning fashion, they're no strangers to tough opponents but even Perth would likely say that just because on paper they 'appear' better in the matchup comparison than Melbourne, means nothing, they know how good Melbourne is. Melbourne has not looked back since game 1 when they were held to just 3 points, they have scored no less than 33 since, while they are 6-4 their losses, like Perth's were to solid teams. They sent a strong message in a loss, yes I said in a loss, when they played Sumatra, in a 62-72 game. They can put up points when needed and today, they might have to do the same thing again. This is going to be a LIGHTS OUT SMASH MOUTH FOOTBALL GAME! If you Miss it, It is MOST DEFINITELY YOUR LOSS!
