I did some fun rankings. I took the Formula (Wins +(Points Scored/2)+(SoS/4))-(Losses+(Points Allowed/2)) and ranked the teams in the East (because that's where my team is). It basically tells you who should win on paper.
If you see anyway I could improve on this let me know.

Oh and for PS, PA, and SoS I took the highest value and rated that 16 and the lowest value was worth 1. So if you allowed the least amount of points you get 16. If you had the hardest schedule you get a 16. Granted these values are worth less than your wins.

1 Chesapeake Roadrunners 16.25
2t Reamstown Ramrods 14.00
2t Indianapolis Gurupies 14.00
4 Vermont Icestorm 13.25
5 Atlanta Samurai 10.00
6 Nashville Longshots 7.75
7 Da NOLA Brah!!! K&B Purples 4.00
8 Detroit Destroyers 1.75
9 Georgia Dawgs 0.25
10 Nashville Psychotic Smilies 0.00
11 Washington WarDogs -0.25
12 Rhode Island Wolves -3.75
13 Bowdoin Polar Bears -5.75
14 Destin Pigskin Pimps -10.00
15 Green Bay Blizard -12.50
16 Detroit Outlaws -15.00

thats flawed, how can vermont have so much space between them and ATL when ATL beat them head to head, and the have the exact same record?

Because you obviously didn't read the formula.

Yes, considering that you are 3 rankings behind them in Points Scored, and 4 rankings behind them in Points Allowed, it kind of give you a ranking below the Ice Storm.

Because its biased, he plays in that division

If you look at the ratings for the teams you can see the class is the East. Compare the top team in the West to the 3rd, 4th and 5th teams in the East. It will be pretty evenly matched.

You posted this on the other thread for A #8 and it still doesn't hold water. When you looked at the matchup between our team (Bloomington Rhinos) and the #4 team in the East we had our backups listed as No. 1 on the depth chart. We played one of the weaker teams in our league and wanted to get our backups more time (final score was 56-3). So, because the matchup rankings you're talking about only compare the No. 1 players on each team's depth chart at the time, you were comparing our No. 2's with the No. 1's from the 4th best team in the East. So yes, our backups are very comparable to their starters. Thanks for the compliment.

P.S. Of course, it's possible that the other team ALSO had their backups listed as No. 1 on the depth chart, but I don't think this was the case. This will all work itself out though in the playoffs one way or another. Until then, best of luck to everyone not playing my Rhinos!

Thanks, you should continue with the Star Wars theme - Boba Fett, Jabba, Yoda etc. You'd have an almost endless selection - but that could get costly.

Chewie's the man!

Yeah, I had a name all ready for a huge NT but never created him...Jabba Smith. I think it's funny to have a normal last name with these names...hence Chewbacca Brown. It's like naming a family pet Paul or John.
